I feel like I'm a very lucky person for choosing Dr Smith. He put in a pig valve and 2 bypasses in 2009. Went over procedure before hand and had a wonderful bedside manner. He stopped by and checked on me every day even after I was turned over to others. He still stops me when we are out socially and checks up on me. I have had no problems since the operation. I have heard nothing but good things from his other many patients.

dr. Doran Smmiyh is a WONDERFUL caring doctor im 53 had never an operation in my life. then the heart attack i had to have four bypasses done.He came to see me everyday and always asked what can i do for you today to make you feel better he knew how scared i was . He has the best bedside manner ever. I thank God everyday for allowing him to be the doctor that did my operation. It has been eight months and he still checks on me and my family and the first thing he ask what can i do for you. TO me and my family he is the BEST!!!!!!

Doctor said he was going to do the procedure and got his partner to do the 1st leg of the procedure without family or patient's knowledge. He did not provide proper follow-up and patient nearly died of a gastric grangrene infection staying in the hospital for over 2 months. This was a healthy patient until Dr. Dorn operated on him. He now has a colonoscopy and must have daily care for the rest of his life. We thought we had done our research. Perhaps it was because the patient was a minority member. We don't know.
