Don’t trust this guy in the slightest, he over diagnosis everything. Had a filling for two years, let’s replace it! Even when it’s in perfectly fine shape and not causing issues. He’s extremely rude to his staff and could not be more fake-nice to his patients. He’s a miserable, lonely narcissist. He should have his licence revoked.

Dr. Macdonnell has been my dentist for 25+ years. He and his team do their very best to provide top dental care. I recommend Advance Dental to anyone looking for a new dentist. Very happy with Andy and the professional staff.

Continue to have mouth pain since fillings procedure several months ago. Pain was not resolved during visits and continues to trouble me every day. Have had to go to another dentist to fix his mistakes and as such it has been very costly.

I have been to a few dentists in Kelowna now and Dr Macdonnell and his staff are by far the best I have experienced. He has an excellent bedside manner, is very caring and his quirky sense of humor make it actually fun to go to the dentist. His front end staff are very friendly and attentive. They don't make you feel like a 'number'. I love this dentist and his staff! Highly recommend.

I have been seeing Dr. Macdonell for several years. He has provided excellent care including many cosmetic services, ranging from chipped front tooth, add ons to the teeth to make them all even, botox, etc. Andy and his team have always been wonderful

I recently went to see Dr Macdonell after seeing another dentist in Kelowna for several years. He was quick and provided me a treatment plan that can be done in his office systematically. He located my on going issue causing me pain in my mouth around an implant site. He located and diagnosed all of it in half an hour. I have been bounced around and an unclear idea of what was going on. He took the time to show me and set out my treatment plan. Love him. Thank you ...Advanced Dental.

I really don't like going to the dentist, but Andy is very good at what he does, he is professional, pleasant and really cares. He does great work, whether it a big or small job. I recently broke a tooth, went straight to his office, he got me right in and took care of it.

Dr. Andy has been my dentist for 23 years. I was always pleased with the work he did and the recommendations he made. Not once have I felt he was doing work without warrant. His job is your dental health. His job is not to waste your time or his chatting about the weather. He has a busy practice so take that into consideration before you write reviews that he is always rushed. He ain't your friend folks, he is your dentist. Let him do his job.
I would recommend Andy all day long.
I do agree with some reviewers about the staff. We have two dental plans and 8 times out of 10 they get the coordination of benefits messed up. Also called me in for a cleaning one time before the 9 month period. They did make it right and refunded me 100%.
All in all, very satisfied with Dr. Macdonnell. Great dentist. I have grown old under his care.

I would say he is a very good dentist, a few issues with unnecessary procedures but the front staff older lady with the short reddish hair ALWAYS Gets my payment wrong. She will quote me and 2 minutes later charges me $10 More.. I complained and requested to pay the amount on my original receipt and then she just took my origional receipt from me, changed it in her system and printed off a new receipt with the $10 more.. seemed fishy to me.. also always quite aggressive on the phone when booking appts... Overall I like Dr.M though and his hygienists.
