After looking up the reviews for Dr. Chow I was a little leery when our primary doctor recommended Dr. Chow to remove a cyst that ruptured and looks suspicious.
The previous reviews are all from 2015 to maybe 2017 or 18… almost all of them are in regards to his staff and how rude they are… and his attitude towards them.

I just want to let you know that I believe either he has hired all new people are they all have had a change of heart because they could not have been more helpful and friendly… even after leaving the office and calling back because I couldn’t remember some of the info the doctor gave us their put me on hold and went and asked Dr. Chow for the information I needed and came right back and gave me the answers and this happened twice in a couple of days.
Even Dr Chow was friendly and answered all our questions.
I would definitely give Dr. Chow and his staff another chance.
I saw one of the post saying that Dr. Chow did not take insurance only credit cards or cash and that is not true check out the list of all the insurance companies he excepts.

Dr. Jerry Chow is in short, simply weird. All he cares about is your consultation fee, and by the way he will only accept cash or credit. That says so much about him. I pay for my own health care and made sure to call ahead to see that he does what I needed. The nurses checked with hm and told me that he removes bone spurs from the fingers all the time, and when meeting with him he told me he doesn't do this and that he is a plastic surgeon. He is only interest in getting the consultation fee. He was so ignorant at our appointment and tried to pass himself off as a plastic surgeon. He is arrogant and believe me he is no plastic surgeon, and in fact I don't believe after meeting him I don't believe he is a real doctor. Don't go to this man for anything, because the only thing he is a professional at is a spam artist. Plastic surgeon, my foot. Doctor, no way. Rating, I can't find the the 0.

Dr Chow is an excellent surgical oncologist. That being said, if you like a soft bedside manner you will not find it with him, He is a sharp straight shooter and while dealing with cancer he can be abrasive. Now for his staff... they are the MOST RUDE, UNPROFESSIONAL AND B*TCHY group of women I have ever come across. They have lied to me and even had the nerve to call me a liar! You will not find office visits pleasant so FYI after surgery you can see him at the hospital to avoid having to deal with them. NOTE TO DR. CHOW.... pay attention to these reviews and clean house!!

The office people, wait time, and location have no significance at all. I feel that the "doctor" is incompetent at hand surgery, considering my fractured finger has resulted in a lifetime disability of my entire hand. He is more of a comical businessman, and I am suspicious of his credentials.(Canada 1980 and nothing else.) When discussing the "mal-union" of my finger, he changes the subject from a possible error on his part to the weather and my mom. He then, of course, sends me for Hand Therapy at a place that HE owns at 119th and Harlem in Palos Heights, where more incompetent people on his payroll make me endure painful and USELESS therapy , for...more money. The finger was not set properly, and the 4 weeks immobile, then 6 weeks in a "Bone Stimulator", (another money maker), guaranteed that the bone would be permanently frozen in a "malunion/rotated" state. He then schedules me for surgery, but then wakes me up after anesthesia to tell me the bone is healed, and "solid as a rock".
