Sometimes it can be a long wait but Dr Barry is such a wonderful doctor I would wait all day to see him. He truly cares about his patients. I feel very self conscious because I have very bad anxiety and have quite a health history..he listens to me and takes what I say seriously. I never feel brushed off or treated as if I am crazy and imagining things...unlike my pcp who is now my ex-pcp.

I stand corrected. My post above said the nurses at Bardmoor. It was the ADLER building of MORTON PLANT where I had the Endo procedure. Bardmoor was my echo outside the body. Trish was excellent there. But The group of nurses with DR. BARRY at Morton Plants Adler bldg. were incredible. It seemed like they all loved their job and liked each other. They took my allergies to latex and sulfites very serious compared to another local hospital, which caused me some complications because they wrote sulfa instead of sulfites, and they forgot to write the latex on my chart so I was a mess after. Dr. Barry's group used the vein I asked them to use and starting my IV took 2 seconds no pain. But at Largo Medical Center they fished all over my arms for 20 minutes, ignoring me. Bruised for weeks. I believe in shopping for good health care. These sites will help.

Wow! It is so rare these days to feel like an MD really cares, and have polite staff too. He works with a group of nurses that were so kind, patient and gentle with me at the Bardmoor office. I had a TEE endoscopy. I was so scared and probably annoying but they were wonderful!!! Not patronizing. Just really wonderful.
