Love Dr P. He listens to what you have to say and does what he can to help. Not big on the pill approach for pain which is great! He usually works it out in a visit or two. The staff is fun and very helpful. This is not your typical doctor's office. No stodgy, snobby people here. If you want friendly, fun and outgoing this is it. The best part is Dr P is a GREAT doctor. Not too many places like this!

The office staff is wonderful with the exception of the receptionist,Cathy, who appears very unhappy and acts like you are a big pain in her behind when dealing with her. Does not feel it is her job to help you. Isn't that why she is there?

Dr. Patterson is a D.O. (Doctor of Osteopathy) in Internal Medicine with a sub-specialty in OMT (Osteopathic Manipulative Therapy). I have had a back/spine condition for over 20 years (bulging lumbar & cervical discs) that has progressively gotten worse. It now radiates into my hips. I have gone to a very good chiropractor for many years, but his treatments no longer helped to relieve the pain and limping that occurs. I also went to many other specialists (neurosurgeons, physiatrists, neurologists, etc.). Some diagnosed me with fibromyalgia and some wanted to operate on my spine. Finally, my neurologist sent me to Dr. Patterson as a last resort before opting for surgery. I have been seeing him for 1.5 months, once a week (now every 2 weeks). So far, he is helping me tremendously. I would suggest Dr. Patterson for anyone experiencing back, hip and movement disorders. He takes as much time as needed with each patient-no rushing at all. He is very personable & his staff is great, also.
