This was the most insulting experience I have ever had with a "professional" . He is condescending, argumentative, and from what I can tell enjoy is getting people sick. He told me my pain was fake even though I've had several back in hip surgeries and have arthritis. He would not answer any of my questions and told me that pain is not a danger. He kept arguing with me with what a danger meant and kept yelling at me about what danger really means. At one point he karate chopped his hand on the table got up and left. He prescribed me a medication that conflicted with my current medication and I got really sick. Do not go see this doctor if he's even in practice anymore.

The other reviews here are accurate. The guy who figured out his business model involves 20 injections a day has completed my understanding of this guy. Understand that he has quotas on how many patients he can prescribe opiates per month, etc. He is gaming the confines of that system to maximize the amount of money he makes, and he does that with ruthless abandon.

I think this unprofessional weirdo may treat you like a human being if you fit certain criteria (cancer patient over a certain age, etc). If he does not have use for you, he runs through a script for getting rid of you, which is engineered to alienate and offend you as quickly as possible so he can leave the room ASAP. Like I said he deploys this with total ruthlessness. "the pain's in your head", "I think we need to treat your mood" (what??? lol), implies you are crazy with a very creepy tone, then suddenly and curtly ends the appointment while refusing to do any referrals or anything of any value whatsoever. He did not attempt any sort of diagnosis or anything.

It took under 5 minutes for him to shock me and convince me to agree it was a waste of time engaging with him as if he was a human being. I was very polite, for some reason, but he was rude and essentially stormed out of the room after attempting to engineer a conflict. My husband and I turned and looked at each other like "WOW". The worst MD we've ever encountered by far. This guy is a sham doctor working the system for maximum profit, and he *DOES* cause ptsd to numerous patients daily to maximize his profits. I'm glad I went in basically expecting this.

Unfortunately, did not read the reviews prior to my surgical procedure of steroidal injections. He has been completely swept up by the winds of the current mindset of many pain specialists with their prejudice against the use of any narcotics for pain, even wheb administered for a procedure which in the past was standard procedure. When they were ready to start, I asked about pain meds and he said he doesn't typically use them. As I was already laying down on the surgical table, I felt I should go through with it. Bad mistake. It was horrendously painful. At one point, he did ask me if I was okay because of the moaning. His query was devoid of any compassion, merely obligatory. I told him to continue, as they had told me it wasn't going to last anything like an hour and as I said, they had started. I will never go through this again with him. But the truth is, unless folks are smart enough to read reviews, these will not make any difference. I asked the nurse how many he does in a day and he said '20', so that's a pretty good business and I'm not sure he cares one jot for the bad reviews. I guess he and doctors like him figure by the time the pendulum swings back and they realize the suffering caused by current narcotic prescribing policies have been reversed, he will be retired, so why should he lose any sleep? He has the current theory of 'it's all in your mind' to soothe his conscience.

My visit with Dr. Kosek was one of the worst doctor's visits I've ever had. He was slovenly, inattentive, sarcastic and completely inept. I went to him for help with my osteoporosis and he said there was nothing he could do, "until your breastbone hits your pelvis." His words exactly. He never inquired about my pain, ability to move, etc. He pointed at my experts and said, essentially, what do you expect me to do about that? I left in tears, and I'm not a tearful person. Not only do I give him a poor review, I urge you NOT to go to him. I left demoralized and disgusted.

He asked me where my pain was I told him my knee and that I need a total knee replacement. He proceeded to ask "what makes you say that" I told him that not 1 but 3 different orthopedic surgeons have told me this and then he proceeded to tell me my pain was all in my head as it is an emotion. I felt insulted and even told him that as felt he was questioning me and having pain."Dr" Kosek is a worthless "doctor" can barely walk due to pain and said my pain is an emotion. He told me to volunteer as it will help thi chi as well, how is a person able to due that when can barely walk or stand on both legs as is. He in simple terms said "pain is in my head". I

Worst MD you could possibly see. I saw his bad reviews and thought I couldn't be THAT bad, well, he is. It's irrelevant that he's cross-eyed, has bad breath and speaks at an awkward broken pace. Imagine going to a mechanic and they said, "Well your transmission is bad, what do you expect me to do about it!?" that's exactly what he said, "Well, you're in pain, what do you expect me to do about it!?" The man is a joke of a doctor. Took absolutely no time to listen to me, had his mind clearly made up and simply spoke to himself while insulting my intelligence and medical condition. Told me to eliminate all medication, even psychiatric medication, and simply volunteer more because I already exercise enough. Really, he said volunteering is a substitute for pain management and psychiatric medication. You could get better medical advice from anyone working in the nutrition section at your local health foods market. Avoid this man. The Dr office holding my pain management contract dropped me as a patient after my appointment with him.

I think any one who gives this doc a good review is ether himself of a staff member he is very rude don't listen and don't take anything you have to say in to account and if you disagree he contacts and lies and makes it harder to see another doctor please avoid the this problem and just find another doctor

I missed my appointment with Dr. Kosek which was out of my control. even after 3 other doctors have asked him to see me for my pain. He refuses to see me or give me another injection. He is good at what he does, but needs to make exceptions once in a while, in order to achieve a good relationship with his patients.

The Staff was great, Dr. Kosek on the other hand was condescending and ill-mannered.
When a doctor lacks an iota of compassion, kindness and basic respect towards a patient- something is surely amiss with him. There are better doctors out there and well worth the wait.
