I wrote the following review and did not give her the ratings that are showing. There must have been a glitch of some kind as she is not worth a 4 or 5 star rating. I will rate her again now.

Dr. Varughese seems to dismiss pain as though what you are experiencing is natural. She becomes annoyed if you continue to go back due to the pain you’re experiencing. She is opinionated and dismisses what you are saying. And feeling. She doesn’t listen to what you have to say or look at you when you’re trying to show her where the pain is and just continues to look at the computer and type. She won’t give you medication even for a short period of time if she thinks that yoga, exercise or rest will take care of it. But sometimes you need something a little more than that. She makes it clear that you just have to accept the pain and deal with it. If there were more doctors accepting new patients I’d find myself a new one. But for now I’m stuck with her. As a rule she is on time for the most part, although the last time I was in to see her she was sitting in her office drinking coffee while talking and laughing with another doctor. I waited 50 minutes past my appointment time and during that time she saw only one other patient before me. If you can locate another doctor, I would do so. She is only sympathetic if your ailment happens to be something new but then it gets old pretty fast as far as she is concerned and she starts to dismiss it.

Almost killed my sister during baby delivery. Left her unmedicated for over 5 hours telling her to push, until another doctor was called in due to her negligence. New doctor scheduled emergency c-section and Dr. V was asked not to attend the surgery theatre by new Dr.

Dr. Varughese is absolutely lovely! Caring, very respectful of her patients and their concerns, takes the time to explain. Can't say enough about her. We think she's just the best!!

Dr. Varughese has been my doctor for 25 years. She is a wonderful doctor and person. She is knowledgeable, down to earth, reasonable and looks for the healthiest ways of to deal with everything. She is a real partner in the community and a well rounded person. She is generally on time and is respectful to patients time. No one wants to wait an hour to see a doctor when they have an appointment and a patient needs to respect other patients time so having 2-3 items to discuss should be the maximum as with most professionials.

I think the world of Dr. Liz! Far too many people point out the obvious....she's busy. I get that. What doctor isn't these days? We all wait a few minutes so why complain about it? The fact is she has a job to do, she does it very well and has for years. She's been our family doctor for 20 years, delivered both my kids and now helping me with R.A, Fibromyalgia, Bursitis, Tendanitis, anxiety and depression. I could hardly walk or leave my room. Now I jog, run, ride my bike, yoga, golf, swimming and more fun time with my kids with NO symtoms anymore. Without Dr. Liz....i do not know where I'd be. So maybe remember the big picture before you give a mediocre review about a wonderful, caring person like Elizabeth Varughese. Our family just loves her!

She's been my family doctor since I was born, she's awesome and super understanding and reassuring. I feel like she defiently knows what she's talking about.

Dr. Varughese has been my GP for years, and I adore her! I work for Naturopathic Doctors,and have integrated a ton of natural medicine into my life...Dr. Varughese has always been extremely encouraging and helpful with my decisions to pursue natural health, especially when it came to my skin concerns. She is extremely diligent, especially when prescribing medications, and will only do so (ie: antibiotics) when she has either run appropriate lab work or it is apparent it is the only course of action. Love her and her attitude! For an MD at such a busy clinic, she is always running on time. For people complaining about being "rushed", remember how many patients she has to see in a day...make sure you come to your appointment prepared!

I am so happy to have found Dr. Varughese. She is always cheerful and polite. She is great with my children and takes the time to show empathy and interest in my concerns. Great doctor.
