Dr. Rycyna and the entire Excelsior campus have caused me massive setbacks botched me up. All 3 segments, medical, surgical and therapy provide substandard care. I have a log with pics from day 1 with loads of issues caused by them. I would BEWARE of this place. Because they are so big and a favorite for legal IME's I cannot find a local lawyer willing to touch them. I'm looking into Rochester and elsewhere as they have severely wronged me. Their therapist had me apply cocoa butter to an unhealed wound leading to 3 months of infection and healing. I have photos of HIPAA violations where previous patients xray was left on screen in my room. Icing on the cake...he rated my PPD very low despite the surgery being a failure. So I walk with no compensation and no job. I was let go because of the extended healing they caused. GO ELSEWHERE!!!

A very moody man, who can be sarcastic and nasty. Behavior you would not expect from a health care provider. I decided to find another Physcian to manage my care.

Dr. Rycyna is a very helpful and compassionate doctor. He always shows genuine concern for my injuries. I have no issues if Dr. Rycyna is a bit late from time to time. He is a very busy doctor and I am grateful for his help and expertise. Dan Fragale. Kenmore, NY 14217

He has a sarcastic streak, and not in a good, funny way. He seems rushed and more concerned with dismissing your complaints than offering empathy and care. He's average at best.
