While under the care of Dr. Marshall, my infant sons pneumonia went undiagnosed for over a month and now, almost three months later and under the care of another pediatrician and pulmonologist, I am still caring for a very sick 5 month old baby who should have been hospitalized.
visit after visit, his severe cough was brushed off by Dr. Marshall, even after a negative rsv test. This is my third child, the cough is really bad, there is fever, could this be pneumonia?? "Nooo don't say that!"
Marshall finally ordered a chest X-ray, turns out it's bilateral pneumonia and she prescribed amoxicillin. I got one follow up call a couple days later, no sense of urgency or serious concern.
It seems dr. Marshall is distracted and a little checked out when meeting with patients. I won't be back and regret staying with her as long as I did.

Just beyond disappointed! Dr Marshall has been our pediatrician for about 4 years only because we switched from Dr Mann in the same office. While they are all very casual about our kids when they are sick, my daughter had tested positive for influenza B on monday and seeing that her symptoms started only the day before, she should have been prescribed Tamiflu. Dr Marshall insured my ex husband who took my daughter that all she needed was ibuprofen???? I am very familiar with the fact that Tamiflu needs to be taken within 48 hours from when symptoms start as its pretty much common knowledge now. My daughter is on her 4th day of the flu, her temperature has spiked every night over 103 and she has been vomiting and actually turned blue because she was choking on flem on tuesday night. When I spoke to the doctor on call both monday night and tuesday as she has been so sick, They were both dumfounded that she was not prescribed Tamiflu. My daughter did not have to suffer like this!!

Always seemed distracted, never asked if I had any questions, waited till I was 2 months pregnant to mention that she didn't do pre-natal care of deliveries, dropped terms like "threatened miscarriage" and "possible genetic defects" like they were nothig to be concerned about. Oh and the wait time was crappy - she would arrive at the office LATE for her first appointment of the day. Staff also kept charging me co-pays even though my insurance states a single co-pay is all that is taken for the entire course of pre-natal care. Now that I have a new Dr. (whom Dr. Marshall referred me to, that part was awesome) I know it's not just me having high and unreasonable expectations. Maybe she's great for kids or breast enhancement or whatever else she does....but I'm sorely disappointed in my Ob/gyn experience with her.

We've been going to Dr. Marshall for years. She doesn't rush thru examinations, is very friendly, knowledgeable, and cares about my children's health and well being. Highly Recommend.
