I have been very disappointed with Dr. Tannenbaum. Since the first visit, he has had a terrible bedside manner and would not even let me explain myself for talking over me. the entire time I felt like I was just a burden on his daily operation and he wanted me out as soon as possible.

A very busy assembly line atmosphere, cold and mechanical, but technically efficient. Communication is minimal. Both Dr. T and his nurse are usually in a hurry, and give short, evasive answers to questions. They do not fully disclose what to expect before or after surgery. Standardized protocols are more important than specific patient concerns, or helping the patient feel informed or comfortable about what is going on. If you like a doctor who keeps it simple and tells you what to do without explanation, this is the place.

I was seen a little later than appt., but they were very busy. Everyone was polite enough and I like Dr. Tannenbaum. He was nice to me on both visits so far. He is knowledgeable and I trust him. He has taken care of my husband successfully also, including a hospital procedure this week.

Bypass this entire group. Go out of town. They are so automated they don't answer the phone, sloppy and make gross errors with records and after forgetting about me in the exam room for an hour, this doctor had the nerve to charge me an extended OV! Nurse staff was grossly unprofessional and crude during testing. Everything you want to avoid in a practice. Doctors just go through the motions as quickly as possible. He didn't even look at me during conversation, couldn't have cared less. Shockingly cold "business", no "medical care" here. He was dismissive and condescending. This office owns every urologist in town so they have no competition.
