I have battled severe anxiety for most of adult life, with agoraphobia plaguing me since my early 30's. Dr Burke is my second physician to help me deal with this issue. He is amazing. His knowledge, understanding and lifelong practice has finally brought me to a place that I am in control of my life and am able to deal with all the struggles life tosses me. He is real, he is brilliant and best of all he really cares for his patients and their suffering. It takes two to make a good outcome when it comes to psychology. Dr Burke has never pushed or prodded, nor does he let me get away with fake excuses and blaming others for my issues, he guides me gently to address those things I can control and release those that I cannot. If you are looking for real help and not a bunch of mumbo jumble, he is definitely the one!! I have referred many to him and everyone is just so pleased with their care. Hope he never retires!! He is someone I can count on, always.

If I could give no stars, I would! Dr. Burke is a quack. His "therapy" is made up almost solely of his own opinions, instead of actual psychological fact or even the law. I saw him through high school, starting at age 14. I'm now 25. He convinced me that my high school boyfriend didn't r4pe me, because even though I said no, the intercourse began consensual. He also convinced me my mother wasn't abusing me, and that it was just my teenage angst causing me to think that her insults and physical assaults were malicious when they "probably weren't". It probably didn't help my case that she was also his patient and claimed that I antagonized her to act that way. If you need legit psychological help, this is the last person you should ever see. He will only make things worse.

Dr Burke has provided me with compassionate and caring service throughout my battle with Early Onset Alzheimer's disease. His gentle manner and wise counsel have helped me enormously to live gratefully and peacefully with a terminal illness. My visits with Dr Burke are like talking to a wise and caring friend who always has a way of easing my struggles. His amazing wife Laura, who works with Him, always brightens my day with her positive and joyful approach to life. They are truly a blessing in my life and have given me the courage, strength, and strategies to live a more satisfying life. Dr. Burke and staff are wonderful. It was very easy to begin sessions with Dr. Burke. The office is very comfortable and friendly. My two children and I have been seeing Dr. Burke for almost a year and we all love the office. My children love going to the office, and talking to Dr. Burke and Mrs. Laura which is very important to me. I would recommend this office to anyone asking and looking for a down to earth, relaxed and family oriented office environment.
