Dr. Alston minimized and downplayed my extremely painful condition leaving me sick for months. Once I switched MDs, I got someone who would really look at my test results and try to put the pieces together. He never put any credibility in test results that were abnormal and gave me no information about how painful and long lasting my condition would be. When I requested my chart notes, I found that he had shared personal information from a private discussion in a medical note and that he was charting things that were inaccurate. I complained about this to the clinic director and switched from his clinic.

He delivered all three of my children. Very nice and helpful. Very friendly and family oriented. If you don t have one yet, you will want to have one just by watching the interaction between him and his family. And that is the same love he brings into his profession. Best OB ever. Hermine

Dr. Alston is an excellent doctor. The single most important asset to medicine that has long been forgotten, compassion is his strong point. I truly had the feeling that he cared about me and had my best interest in mind. Personally i feel he is the best doctor in all of Humboldt, it is a shame that the clinic is not accepting new patients (though hopefully they will start again soon).
