Dr. Mamelak was very friendly and knowledgeable. I felt however that he was promoting his skin products and not offering other off the shelf alternatives. The older secretary is brutal and needs training on customer service. She is not welcoming and very rude.

As a parent of a teenage girl where acne is a life & death matter, I would like to take this opportunity to share our recent experience with Dr. Mamelak. Referred by our family doctor, we recently completed Dr. Mamelak’s prescribed acutane program. Earlier this year, our daughter’s facial acne problem was severe, and as a teenager heavily involved in active sports with sweating all the time, problem was getting worse by the week. We tried number of medication but nothing seemed to work, so finally our family doctor referred us to Dr. Mamelak. From our initial consultation and through the program, he explained clearly about some of the side-effects and how to deal with them. With kind support and professional guidances from Dr. Mamelak, our daughter successfully overcame these side effects. After 4 months of supervised medication and dedication, our daughter’s face show great improvement / cure, and we are all very happy with the results. Thank you very much, Dr. Mamelak.

He was very friendly and helpful. Explained everything and was receptive to all questions. He treated ne for some Basel Cells with very positive results. Apparently he is leaving Mississauga and that means we are losing a good doctor

Skin cancer, or anything cancer in our society, tends to terrify anyone, in my opinion, thus we are easily compliant. Dr. Mamolek lacks the depth of knowledge and caring necessary to be a good MOH's surgeon. I came away with the impression that I could so easily be disfigured for life with MOH's and that the risk just isn't worth it. Disappointing that this doctor and others can't realize that a person's appearance is very important. In addition, I am very suspicious of how easily the term cancer is used.

Very surprised at good ratings. It longer to complete the patient form than actual appointment. Appointment started out with "Why are you Here ?" To a quick scan of sun damaged on my face, ignoring any mention of other damaged areas, to "I'll get my gun {?} ", to zapping me with no warning as to pain or anything else from "the gun ". A quick "these spots will blister and look bad for a time. Good Bye !" Will never return...

Based on the reviews here, had asked my Family Phys. to refer me to this doctor specifically. After 3 weeks, no response came back. Called to check on the status of the appointment. The receptionist told me "No", to my statement "I am calling to check the date of my appointment". Was treated very rudely and abruptly. Not sure if this is the norm for this doctor, but was very disappointed.
