Very good doctor. Seemed very concerned and wanted to treat with "natural" medication, which is what I prefer. He knew exactly what he was talking about and the medications he gave me didn't make me sick like previous medications given to me by other doctors. He definitely has a wacky personaly and can be a bit intense but otherwise very knowledgeable and willing to not just write out a prescription for a regular medication and stuck with natural and compounds. If you're looking for a doctor to actually help you and your body, not just give you a pill and send you on your way, I highly recommend him.

Excellent diagnostician. He provides a no nonsense approach to healthcare. Also, he is able to provide successful referrals to match a patient's needs. The office used to be very crowded, but since the reorganization runs smoothly now. He is open to conversation or discussion about choices a paitent can make.

Went to Desimone in Secaucus on a couple of occasions. For one problem, he entirely misdiagnosed what I had. The staff in general is extremely rude and Desimone is either unknowledgeable (attended medical school in Mexico)or just doesn't care. I recommend that you steer clear!

Dr. DeSimone is hot and cold. Sometimes he seems very concerned and takes time to listen and diagnose the problem and other times he is abrubt and unconcerned. The worst part about going to see him though is having to deal with his rude staff and the filthy conditions of the examining rooms. I mean, please, can't they get someone to do a thorough job of cleaning the place. On two occassions, the staff could not find my file and another time I sat in the waiting room for almost a hour for a blood test. Blood test can now be done at Dr. DeSimone's offices. When I complained at the front desk about how long I was waiting, I was told that the woman who gives the blood tests is running late and that "these things happen". I couldn't believe it. Yes, things happen, but how about informing all the people who are waiting.

No manners at all. Trying to get infomation is like pulling teeth. Was going to him for 13 years. He was not bad in the begining. Now his head is so big I would never go back again. Also never followed up on my condition or gave me a call to see how i was when he sent me to rehabilation. Was there for 3 weeks. Home now for 4 months. Still has not called to see if I'm dead or alive. Real Jerk

First time I went to him, he seemed great. Second time he was a bit of a jerk. Very abrupt, as if I were wasting his time by daring to be sick. Third time he was totally unhelpful but not cranky about it. He definetely runs hot and cold, and I for one am no longer going to him.
