Was a patient for years and had been referred due to thyroid nodules. Overlooked her incredibly rude bedside manner. Thyroid numbers started going all over the place and was having difficulty dealing with emotional stability. Instead of doing blood work or a physical exam, she told me I needed a psychiatrist. She didn’t even physically check my thyroid even though it had been at least a year since she examined me. Went to my family doctor, had an ultrasound and found nodules. Gave me medication and now I’m doing awesome. She doesn’t listen to your symptoms and don’t you dare advocate for yourself.

Worst doctor I have ever met. She was rude and condescending, did not listen, not aware of advances in her field. She cut me off and sneered at my questions. She didn't pick up on the 1 thing i knew for certain should have not been prescribed -- after 1 hour i gave up and asked if i should be taking this 1 med. She said, "absolutely not". But I had to ask her and she had been staring at my med list and stats for an hour. I didn't go in planning to use this as a test but it turned out to be just that and major fail. She is the kind of MD who appears to hide her incompetence with a sneering condesc

The only word that comes to mind is arrogance. She make sure I have my pills filled but that's about it. Just don't question her and you'll be alright

I do not recommend this Dr. Her office staff is rude and ignorant. When I called to get help I was told they do not accept diabetics, however, UHC and her website has diabetes listed as her specialty. Furthermore, they could not recommend any other doctor. They are not trying to help people. Nobody deserves to be rejected based on their illness.

I wouldn't recommend this doctor to anyone. She is rude, dismissive, condescending, arrogant and narcissistic. She ignores your symptoms and is only interested in the "numbers". She has been gradually decreasing my thyroid meds dosage while I have been feeling the symptoms of hypo returning, such as weight gain (she told me to go to weight watchers), depression (she told me to see a shrink), difficulty sleeping (blamed it on my age), painful joints and swelling (age and weight). If you want a doctor that treats you and your symptoms like a number, without an ounce of compassion, she's the one to see. Her negativity seems to pervade the office staff as well. If I worked for her, I'd be miserable as well. She recommended I get a second opinion. That's the only piece of advice I intend to follow and I'll never return.

I've never met such a repetitively wrong person. Having been seen by this doctor I would never recommend her to anyone. I felt like taking my papers and ripping them up so she doesn't get paid for the way treated me in her office. I hope she really does tell my doctor what she told me. Then we can both know the same about her. If your doctor has referred you to this person....ask for someone else. If you want help...ask for someone else. If you want to be told there's nothing wrong with you, your symptoms don't matter, TSH is all that matters and you can't be thin and hypothyroid at the same time....make your appt. I was told the same thing she told someone else who reviewed her. My TSH is 0.02. And she said nothing is wrong with me. My labs are normal and I shouldn't even be on any meds or even be diagnosed with hashimoto's or hypothyroidism. I will not be going back, taking synthroid again not will I ever recommend her to another soul.

I have a bad case of Hashimoto's thyroiditis. Doctor and a friend referred me to her. Upon my visit she seemed clueless. Said my symptoms sound hypo and hyper, well thats how hashimotos typically works. Said I must have another underlying health condition. Said with a tsh of 6.0 she would not have put me on any meds. Did no blood work or tests and upped my synthroid. See you in 6 months.

At first I was a little disappointed. I knew going in that "people" said she had bad bedside manners. But I didnt care about that I just wanted a good doctor, to which i was told she was. To make a very long (almost 3 years of not being myself) story short. Dr. Galbraith took the time to find out what was really wrong with me. At first she thought it was something not endo related (based on all of the other doctors labs and tests) but because she took the time to listen to me and read my timeline of notes and symptoms within 4 months I have a diagnosis and I am on my way to being ME!!!!! I do think there are a couple of nurses within the office that seem to be confused when it comes to communication so when I go I try to make sure that I take notes from the doctor. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND HER TO ANYONE, ANYTIME.

I like Dr. Galbraith, she is not as helpful sometimes when she feels you are overweight, but since I am, I try hard not to argue. She is very helpful in making me feel welcomed in her office.

I am absolutely stunned. I went to Dr. Galbraith after reading the prior review, and what a rude awakening I got. Dr. argued with me from the time she walked in until I left. Oddly enough she made me feel extremely uncomfortable and cut off each and every one of my sentences. Her bedside manner leaves a lot to be desired. She even told me how frustrated she was with me, not really something a patient would like to hear when they come in sick and are begging for help (after all...since I had to pay cash..isnt she working FOR ME for the time period I am there???). Upon leaving, the receptionist charged me $181.00, when I asked for a discount she said to hold on a minute, she left, came back and said:"Actually it's $221.00 (who upped the price within 5 minutes?), so thats what I have to charge you". She then informed me to consider the doctors training, time, etc....I just paid the $181.00 (which I now regret) and walked out...to NEVER return.
