This woman was rude, dismissive, and wasted my time. She said she wouldn’t see me bc I had previously been prescribed lunesta. Her demeanor is abrasive and she does not seem current on research.

Medication management should be met with care and understanding, but Kathy is not any of those things. I worked with Kathy for a few months to change medication. She was brash from the start, but I was along for the ride and respected her for not over-prescribing meds. Life threw me a curveball and I was feeling down, but not ready to increase my meds. Kathy insisted on increasing them, and said some pretty awful things to me when I refused. She said one comment to me that was unforgivable, and even after meeting again and hearing her apologize, she was still throwing conflicting "rules" at me. I'm happy to find some else that can really care for my needs and help me plan a way forward.

I wound not recommend her. She made very rude, insensitive, unprofessional comments and spoke in a very demeaning way.
I have had several not so great psychiatrists but she tops them all.
At first I thought it was just a couple small remarks that didn’t land right. NOPE, after we met several times it was clear this is how she talks and conducts herself all the time!!
I strongly suggest you seek help elsewhere from a professional who understands how to work with individuals who are struggling and seeking meds management.

I like my doctors to be upfront and blunt and all but she is MEAN. Just straight up dismissive, talks over you, asks questions and then says "I didn't ask for your life story" if you answer more than a single word. Mean, mean, mean. Avoid.

Poorly up to date on anxiety and depression clinical research and prescribes out of the 1990s. Wouldn't recommend. Just find yourself someone who cares enough about the field to stay up to date with it.
