Excellent Doc. Gets to know his patients. Really takes the time to explain everything, knows what he is doing, and tells you like it is.

I started going to see Dr. Todd last week after giving birth to my son 5 weeks ago and being significantly unhappy with the pediatrician I started with. Since birth, my son has had difficulty with bowel movements. I voiced my concerns to my original pediatrician and she told me that it was okay for a baby to not have a bowel movement for up to 14 days. Right then, I decided to change pediatricians. I was recommended Dr. Todd by St. Mary's ER and I was immediately impressed upon meeting him. He's a straight to the point kind of guy and he's not afraid to tell you what he thinks is going on or if symptoms you claim your child has concern him or not. I'm sure he won't be everyone's cup of tea because he doesn't sensor himself but that's one of the reasons I like him. Last week, we went to go see him about my son's bowel problems, and he advised us to mix water and prune juice. He told us to wait a week then come back in so he could check again. He said if his problem persists that he would check him for a sphincter enclosure. 4 days later we took him back in to see Dr. Todd because he was still constipated and visibly upset about it. Dr. Todd immediately corrected the sphincter blockage and my son has been at peace ever since. I love Dr. Todd. I'm so thankful that he was recommended. I wouldn't dare go anywhere else. This man is great at his job and his humility is greatly appreciated. And have you ever met a physician who walks into the waiting room to greet a patient as they were patiently awaiting their turn to see him? Me either. Not until I walked into Dr. Todd's. He truly cares about him patients and their families.

Very unprofessional, I wouldn't even give him a 1. Made my daughter and I wait for 2 hours, we were the first appointment of the day. Foul mouth, ego through the roof. I saw his father, also a terrible pediatrician (apple doesn't fall far) who changed my daughter's formulas 6 times before 2 months old. Dr Todd said that he couldn't believe his father would do such a thing, he would never do that. What's the first thing he does for my daughter? CHANGES HER FORMULA AGAIN. The people who like him as a doctor for their children probably don't really care about the kind of care their children get, they just like the free sports tickets and the carnival he throws.

I went through several pediatricians before I finally found Dr Todd. Due to personal and medical reasons, I choose not to vaccinate my children. Dr Todd has been very respectful of my decisions as a parent. I also appreciate that his office treats the children in the least invasive manner. He is not an alarmist, and puts you at ease when your child is sick and you are worried.
My children love the fact that he doesn't look like a "scary doctor", wearing a starched white lab coat. His staff is also wonderful. They are very professional I can always get a same day appointment when one of the children are sick. Overall, I am very pleased with the care I receive and would recommend him to any of my friends.

Dr. Todd is the best pediatrician hands down.
My wife and I have one 6 month old boy. Since this baby was our first, we did not knew any pediatricians in the area, so I started searching online. We went to other 3 pediatricians and my wife was still not convinced. That was until we went to see Dr. Todd. Just as you walk in the office, you immediatelly see the difference. The office has a lot of nice decorations and the waiting rooms have nice games. And also (pretty important from my point of view) there are 2 waiting rooms: One for none sick children, and one for sick children. This I think is great since it helps to avoid getting other babies sick.
Anyways, since day one the Dr. Todd was great. He has a great personality and immediately make us feel confidence. He has great knowledge and his office staff is also great! Another great thing is that they have the capability to do a lot of testing on site. If your baby is sick, they can make blood screening, ear pressure screening and x-ray among other things. Also they have the option to make a same day appointment if you need it in case your baby is sick or just to check a concern that you might have about your child.
There are just not enough words to describe how great we feel to have him as our pediatrician.
I hope this review helps other new parents which are still searching for a pediatrician.

My son was diagnosed with trigonocephaly, which is a premature closure of the metopic suture, it is rare and happens in 1 of 2000 infants. I noticed my sons head shape the day he was born. When he was about 4 weeks I did some research on his head shape and brought trigonocephaly to the attention of his pediatrician Dr. Marcus Todd in Livonia. He told me it was impossible for the suture to close and would not listen to a word I said. Mind you I am a first time mother and am scared and nervous. I told him this condition is rare and happens in the womb. He then again told me I was wrong and that it's impossible for this to happen. I told him I would like a second opinion and would like him to get a referral to see a neuro surgeon. He told me he would not send one out because it's impossible for the suture to close at his age and that I could go pay out of.pocket to see a surgeon. Mind you I am a medicaid patient and he told me to pay out of pocket. He stormed out of the room when I had more to say. His assistant Dr. Melissa was in the room and she gave me a business card for a surgeon. I emailed the surgeon Dr. Woodruff and told him my concerns, along with pictures of my sons head. His secretary Stephanie ripple emailed me the next day saying to call her. Dr. Woodruff looked at the pictures and wanted to see my son and they tried to get my sons records from Dr. Todd and he denied kalines records being sent, in order for them to treat him. At this point we went to a new pediatrician dr. zeskind who recognized the condition of his suture, and s e immediately sent out a referral to see a craniofacial surgeon at motts childrens hospital. On may 6 he was diagnosed with trigonocephaly . If I had not researched and pushed this, Dr. Todd would have undiagnosed him and my son would have had brain damage for the rest of his life. I am truly disgusting this man and believe he should not be working with children, as he is malpracticing

We love Dr.Todd. He is very helpful. It is very comforting to new patients to know that he carries a cell phone after hours for emergencies. We live i. South Lyon and drive 22 miles each way to see Dr Todd. We have recommended him to several friends and family members. He interacts with the kids well and my daughter just loves him. His staff is wonderful about getting you in on the same day when u have a sick child. I can't thank him and his staff enough!

I like dr. Todd very much and also dr. Kat. Dr. Todd has a laid back personality and an odd sense of humor. It may turn others off but I quite like him. He and all the other staff make me and my daughter feel at ease and relaxed. She's never afraid to go and likes seeing everyone when we are there. I can say whatever he does on his own time hasn't affected the way my daughter has been treated. They seem professional and I never wait long for morning appointments with dr. Kat.
