Looked at my MRI, Told me I had a perfectly healthy back gave me naproxen and sent me on my way-5 min appt. went to a neurologist at Yale and he could not believe what I was told. C6&c7 were completely ruptured he had me in surgery 2 weeks later. Thought I should mention that I am on Medicaid. If you don't want to take Medicaid patients then don't advertise that you do!! scumbag

He walked in, looked at my mri on computer screen and said, "your back is normal degeneration, you don't need surgery so there is nothing i can do for u. Go for pain management, swim therapy and lose weight. Goodbye" He didn't ask me any questions, or examine me. Why did I go, could have just sent cd and not show up. Medical injustice!

I was told that I had a pituitary tumor that did not need surgery. That was ok, however he put me on medication that is know to have very adverse effects, as well as tell me that oh, it should be gone in about two weeks. I have a macro pituitary adenoma which is still considered large and continue to have symptoms almost a year later. He also made a statement to me such as " Oh, you researsed on the web, well we won't need to deal with any of that." He really didn't want to hear any of my symptoms and shucked me out of his office very quickly with out telling me any useful information about my tumor, other than oh, that is a big one. Not very helpful, once he figured out that it didn't need surgery!

He actually told me he was "too stupid to figure out what was wrong with me" He basically shoved me out of the office within 7 mins. He told me his recently retired parter Dr Poletti "did a number on me and he could do nothing to help me" His bed-side manners were horrible. He should be ashamed of himself for the way he treated me then charging my insurance co. $280.00

My first operation went very well. Dr. Kvam came to see me before the operation and made me feel VERY at ease and comfortable with the procedure he was about to perform. He listens to his patients and spends a lot of time with them. He operated on my lower back, a disc bulge. I would highly reccomend him to anyone!
