Have known this man for many years. The previous posts are true in that he is arrogant and is not knowledgeable about fibromyalgia. His testing for this with me was to poke me a few times in the arm and say "does this hurt? does this hurt?" I was not in the middle of a flare up so I said "No" he then told me that I didnt have fibromyalgia. I have had this for 2 yrs and I know that I do. He does have some form of narcissistic god complex. When I see the other replies they mirror exactly what I was thinking. Someone mentioned perfectly coiffed hair, well at least he's not dying it anymore and wearing the big gold chain LOL. He is very uncompassionate and doesnt explain things well he makes you feel as if you should bow in his presence. He will have you red flagged even if you dont deserve it and will ruin your life, stay away from him and find another doc. He is 70 so maybe he will retire soon and do this town a favor as well as the title of M.D.

All... of the previous statements are true. However, I see him as a legitimate doctor dealing with a difficult subject. If you can respect him and his attitude then he's well worth it. Brenda's intelligent and fantastic too...

I found Dr. Aguirre to be very helpful, compassionate and kind. His office is always swamped and I think that's why he is always late. There are not a lot of pain specialists in the area so I forgave him the lengthy wait. I think he is very cautious in his presciption writing for pain meds because of the risk of abuse and drug seeking patients. I think he's a good man trying to do a good job and should be commeneded for that. His office staff is very rude and unhelpful however, especially in dealing with patients over the phone. I would recommend him to a friend or family member.

The staff were nice and pleasant. I arrived at 11:40 for my 1:00 appointment to fill out the paper work for first time visit. Mind you that I was refered by my primary care doctor just for the purpose of adjusting my chronic pain medication. I went back into the room at 1:00, the NA got some history, checked my vitals, and had me put on a gown. I am permanently disabled with mutliple spine fractures. I have my own insurance which takes up half of my monthly pay check. So, when he finally makes it in there, an hour after the nurse assistant left, we talked for a minute. I informed him that I did not have a lot of money because of my disability and he said "then I can't help you". Need I say more?? And all the things that were said about him in the other reviews about his personality are spot on. Why should anyone that has been suffering be made to suffer more from this man with a God complex??

The title of "God" is taken, we will refer to him as "doc". This doc is the second most arrogant human being I have ever met. Doc has the most important job in medicine-to prevent suffering. Instead, he causes it and obviously chooses to do so. He has a a narcissists personality, always right yet not confident enough to look a man in the eye. His handshake is limp and cold. If he says a word, it is from a "parental" perspective and you are the errant child. Since we live inside our bodies our reports of usual or unusual are important. Not to this guy. He even looks like Joseph Mengle! Now, you can say he can't help that, but what's with the manicure, vanity, perfectly coiffed hair...and sadistic attitude? If I am to be humiliated, ignored and taken from a livable state to an unlivable one by another, I'd prefer it be in Guantanamo or in a basement in Santiago or Beirut where the pain is taken pure without the bile of hypocrisy. This man belongs in pathology where his work lies..

I love him! Regardless of whether he is on time, he is a wonderful anesthesiologist! I will never go anywhere else!

Very rude, condescending. Had the office staff tied up making phone calls to his daughters vacation hotel while patients were kept waiting. Was referred to him for pain resulting from two fractured vertebrae. Actually said "What do you want me to do about it?" Received no help of any kind!!! but they did take my money. NEVER go see this man.

Running late - very condescending, Has the "I'm the doctor therefore I'm God" complex going on - doesnt talk to you - talks to the wall or his assistant - doesn't answer questions satisfactorily - gives one or two word answers, again not talking to "you" but to a wall or his assistant - does NOT explain anything as far as treatment plan goes when asked, just looks at you and continues talking about what he was talking about - will NOT be going back to him and definitely do NOT recommend him at all - too full of himself
