This woman has saved my life, time and time again. She is absolutely brilliant, compassionate, while maintaining an extreme level of professionalism at all times. She goes above and beyond when there is need for concern; checking in on her own time-- weekends/vacation. She truly cares about her patients, in a way which is truly rare. She uses brilliant metaphors and diagrams that make everything so easy to identify with and feel humanized by. Are you a dandelion kid, or an orchid? Lamborghini brain, or Subaru Forester? I don't know how I ended up referred to this amazing doctor, but it hands down changed the course of my life in more ways than I could ever describe. In my opinion, you could not be luckier to become one of her patients.

While knowledgeable I found doctor Zuberbier constantly late for appointments and spent the first ten minutes of each appointment refreshing her memory by reviewing her notes on our previous sessions. Dr Zuberbier was somewhat condescending in many of our sessions, and at one point made an observation about my emotional state with the singsong tone of you’d usually hear from someone saying “you poor baby, suck it up”. That was my last session.

Amazing doctor. She literally changed the course of my life and gave me the tools I needed to move forward and deal with whatever issues I had. Down to earth, genuine, caring and knowledgeable!

Dr Z is a lovely psychiatrist. I have been seeing her for almost a year and she has helped me so much. She is very kind and patient. I like that she isn't overly emotion because it seems sincere. Also, she gets really excited when you make a breakthrough which is very sweet. She also does a lot of teaching during her appointments so if you are interested in learning about psychology I would highly recommend therapy with her. One thing I mildly dislike is how formally she practices. It makes me feel less comfortable but I think many doctors are this way.

I went to see her about my depression and anxiety. She seemed nice enough, but I never felt like I was getting anywhere. She loaded me down with lots of paperwork (she's very anal) and I was too overwhelmed to do much of it. She would over-explain things long after I got the point and go into so much detail. It exhausted me and I stopped going.

I am now seeing a life coach and it's costing me a lot but for the first time in years I'm feeling better and getting goals accomplished! It's interesting that a far less "qualified" life coach was the one who ended up truly helping me the most. I don't know why that is but I'm glad I took a chance.

One irritating habit this doc had: I was often waiting for about 10 minutes past the time when my appointments should have begun, yet she always finished exactly on time at the end of the appointment-meaning she cheated me on the time. I finally mentioned this and her answer was that some clients travelled a long way to get here. So one wouldn't leave early enough to be on time? This didn't make sense.

Went to her on a referral and will not return. She's got lots of degrees on her wall, but Dr. Zuberbier does not seem emotionally qualified for her work. Completely agree with the other reviews that found her to be too clinical and without people skills or empathy. She seems really detached to the point of boredom, she yawns a lot, doesn't engage, doesn't respond. And this isn't about her abilities, but is irritating, her voice is over modulated and everything she says seems very insincere and artificial. Not recommended for anyone who needs to feel like they're actually heard by their therapist.

I am grateful to have Dr. Zuberbier as my psychiatrist. She loves her job, and it shows in the quality of care she provides to her patients. Respectful, punctual, thoughtful. I like the structure of the appointments, it makes me feel safe.

Without question Dr Zuberbier changed my life. After many years of depression and self-doubt she really did help me to understand the great mass of baggage I had been carrying with me after a very dysfunctional childhood.

She is very professional, very skilled, and absolutely professional. I was particularly impressed by the extreme care that she took to investigate possible conflicts between prescribed antidepressant drugs and other medications.

I cannot recommend her too highly. She is truly a lifesaver.

I have been seeing Dr Zuberbier for 5 years and she has saved me many times. I know that when I go see her I can unload and not worry about being judged. She is very careful with medications and has been great when I have I have wanted to look at natural ways for sleep etc. by letting me know what will interact with my medications I am on. If it weren't for her understanding without being patronizing way i would probably still be trying to find someone that I can feel comfortable enough with to show the vulnerable side of me and my depression/anxiety/OCD. She takes time to really get to know you and your mental illness, there is no assumptions and she is very thorough.
