Highly recommend! No wait time in office and also surgical dates.
Not rushed in office visits.
Made sure my wife and I understood my medical issues and choices. We chose Dr Switzer to do the procedures and surgeries with complete confidence.

After reading some of the reviews, I was hesitant to go to him. However two of my other doctors referred me to him claiming he was a good doctor. My appointment was today and I am very very happy with him. Very professional, friendly, knowledgeable, answered my questions I would highly recommend him

Dr. Switzer and his office are very unprofessional. 3 times in a row they forgot about me. The first 2 times were in the waiting room and the last time was in the examination room. Each time they told me Switzer didn't have the time to see anymore and to schedule another appointment but each time they didn't have an appointment for another 6 months and no apology like its my fault they forgot about me. I'll give it to him that he did finally diagnose my problem but after the initial diagnosis it seemed like he didn't care anymore even though I wasn't feeling any better and been getting worse. It felt like he didn't believe me that I was feeling worse. Even though he's the supposed leading doctor in WNY for my health disorder I wouldn't recommend him to anyone!

His nurse, Maureen, who did the initial appointment information for my son was very pleasant and kind. My son is 16 and was diagnosed with WPW. Dr. Switzer spoke to both of us, not just me and made my son feel as if he were a part of the decision making process also. Yes, he is to the point but I could tell he knew exactly what to do for my sons condition. He was very reassuring and explained the procedure in a way we understood without taling down to us.

I found Dr. Switzer to be excellent. He explained everything in a manner that was understandable to someone that does not have a medical background, something that I value as a patient. He answered all of my questions patiently. He did not push me into making hasty decisions, rather presenting what he thought was the best course of treatment for me given my condition and health. His explanations were thorough. He displayed a calm, confident demeanor that made me feel at ease. My wife acoompanied me to the appointment and he answered any questions that she had as well with the same courtesy and patience that he showed me. Dr. Switzer made me feel at ease in the office and very optimistic about my outlook, which is why I would recommend him for anyone who needs to see an electrophysiologist. Also, in speaking with multiple cardiologists in the area, it was Dr. Switzer who kept being mentioned as "the best" for his particular discipline in the area.

Don't waste your time with him. Very unprofessional. The most rude and cocky MD I've ever met. He will rush you out the door and will not listen to you long enough to find out your individual needs. HATES being asked questions about his treatment choices, gets very defensive and rude and just lists off his credentials (he must be insecure as an MD since he isn't comfortable defending his rationale). I simply asked if there were any treatment alternatives - he got very angry and yelled "if you want to diagnose and treat yourself, go see another doctor" and stormed out of the room, even though I have a doctorate degree in a related profession- utterly disrespectful. Only good thing is lots of appointment availability but that's probably because nobody wants to go back to him.

Interpersonal skills and patient respect dreadful. Man arrived in examining room without making eye contact or introducing himself. Mentioned his own name while riffling through some papers. Never asked mine and clearly wasn't interested. EKG taken 6 weeks earlier and basis for visit was not yet there! Ordered two tests. Ten days so far and not a word. Not sure about his competence but as a person and professional he's singularly unimpressive. No surprise he's still taking new patients. I'd predict high turnover that may include me.

appears to be bored, does not look at patient, does not seem to care about the patient--basically just shrugged and said "well it will just get worse" he offered no help or comfort
