Wait time TERRIBLE! Does not learn about new meds or procedures. Nice guy. Will NOT HELP WITH INSURANCE PROBLEMS IF THEY ARISE.

Dr. C. has been my pain Dr. for yrs. and he is very compassionate and understanding. I have had chronic pain for almost 30 yrs., have had 2 neck surgeries due to several car accidents (no fault of mine) and I have had a multitude of pain mgmnt. procedures and injections. Dr. Courtney is the best I have every been to. He takes his time with each patient and offers alternatives, rather than just pushing pills. I would highly recommend him to anyone. His staff is also excellent, efficient, and on the ball. One rarely has to wait long to be seen, as he does not over book.

DR Courtney has been my Dr for 2 + years! I will never leave him and his staff they are the best I have ever dealt with! He listens and gets to the root.of the problem, not just write some scripts and send u on ur way. If he ever decided to quit practicing it would really Such! He is the only Dr I feel comfortable with and actually cares and does an evaluation on u and tries other options not just pain meds his staff couldn't be nicer. I never wait long to see him! If someone's has issues with him they must be doing something wrong or dirty drug test. Dr C as far as I know would not just drop a patient without good cause!!! I highly highly recommend him and his staff to anyone looking for a real Dr! And not a pill mill.

Dr. Michael Courtney is an awesome doctor, I have been seeing 2 + years now. I had a serious motorcycle accident 8 years ago, and have seen multiple doctors. The previous doctors had prescribed me Xanax, Hydrocodone, and lots of other medications. I was a zombie when I first went to Dr. Courtney. He took his time and did a complete evaluation on me, present and past. Noticed things no other Doctors noticed, like one leg had almost 3/4 of an inch difference. I will try to shorten this story. After sending me to other specialty doctors, He has decreased all of my medications to two prescriptions, I have a lift on all of my (R) shoe(s). My back pain is almost completely gone, I walk without the major sway I had, and my other pain is under control. He also found out my testosterone level was extremely low, now under control and monitored. The staff is always polite, and appointment's never more than 30 min wait. Most of the time 10 min. or less. If your just looking for drugs, don't go here. If you honestly want help, I strongly suggest Dr. Courtney. Hope this helps.

I have been a patient of Dr. Courtney's for around 10+ years. I have never had an issue with him or his staff. Dr. Courtney is thorough and spends quite a bit of time with me and addresses every issue that I have. I hope I never have to see anyone else but him. I cannot understand anyone ever having a problem with Dr. C. All he requests is that you follow the guidelines that are in place. In todays world there are not many doctors as great as dr. Courtney. If someone has issues with him it must be personal.

I had seen Dr. Courtney for over 5 years and then one day I opened my mail and got a letter from his office that he was releasing me as a patient. I was shocked bc the letter said if I go near the place he would call the police. I don't know why I was released but bc of the letter I did not want to give him the satisfaction of asking why? He always seemed nice but why would a doctor do this? I always used same pharmacy, never did other drugs and took meds as prescribed. I know he thinks of himself as having more power then he does. I actually feel sorry for him! Dr. Sidhom is great in Spring Hill but in his office you will wait 2 to 3 hours. I do work fulltime so I really have to find another doctor but Dr. Sidhom is humble and I really like him. PS. When I found another doctor Dr. Courtney never sent my records and we requested them 3x I had to get another MRI!

Dr. Courtney and his staff are very professionl I was having lots of pain and Dr. Courtney with an evaluation went through a series of test was able to diagnos my ailments with 3 treatments and now I can go and get my hip fixed. I would reccommend this Dr. to anyone.

I left the office after waiting more than an hour for my appointment. The doctor was rude to me, tried to bill me extra for not keeping my appointment. He sent me a letter discharging me as his patient and threatened me with a trespassing order if I harass him or his staff. The doctor and staff made me feel like a drug addict and criminal. He told me that it is OK to wait 3 or more hours to get our pills from him, like I have no life otherwise. I do not recommend this doctor!!
