Dr. Stainbrook diagnosed my rheumatoid arthritis that others had missed and initiated treatment that may prevent crippling arthritis in the future.

This doctor took no time with me. After hearing my symptoms, he asked me if I wanted a 'nerve pill'. He then laughed at me when I asked about my back pain. At one point, he told me he had other patients waiting and I needed to tell him what I wanted. I put up with this behavior for 3 visits before switching to a doctor in Lancaster, Oh. At his point, when I asked to have my records faxed to the new doctor, the receptionist (alice) told me she is busy and didn't know if she would get around to it. When I asked if I could pick them up to take with me, she said she did not have time to copy a file. I would definitely pay the extra gas money and go to a doctor who cares what he is doing. I have never felt so small when at a doctor visit. I would NEVER recommend this doctor to anyone.

It has been years since I've seen this doctor, but the experience sticks in my mind for many negative reasons. One was that he said that he hadn't seen anyone else who had as many of the trigger points for Fibromyalgia as I had, but when I applied for Social Security Disability for the period I was disabled by another condition, my attorney said the paperwork he requested from them said that I DID NOT have Fibromyalgia. I was given no help and had no improvement during treatment from him. His office staff scheduled an appointment for me that I didn't request since I couldn't drive at that time, and I pointed that out while still in the office and had them cancel it. On the appointment date, I was BILLED for that appointment anyway, and when I refused to pay for obvious reasons (both calling and writing to them), they sent a very rude letter informing me that they wouldn't see me again in the future. Astounding.
