Had a great experience overall. Both Dr. Islur and his staff are wonderful. I had a mommy-makeover (breast lift, tummy tuck and liposuction) and I am over the moon happy with my results. There were no surpises along the way - consult was very thorough and Dr Islur was very sincere and genuine. He offered his opinion about what I wanted and I appreciate that he talked me out of getting breast implants as he stated that I had alot of breast tissue and he was worried I would look top heavy. I am so glad I listened to him because I was convinced I needed implants. He definetly isn't into pushing surgery. My only negative would be that the wait list is long to see him for both a consult and surgery so plan 5-6 months ahead. That being said - it was worth waiting for!!

I had upper Blepharoplasty down a year ago. I am very happy with the results and would highly recommend Dr. Islur to anyone considering having this procedure done. Dr. Islur is very professional and kind. He was always making sure that I was comfortable during the surgery and when I showed any signs of discomfort he addressed it immediately. The staff were always very friendly. Nurses were exceptional with their kindness and professionalism. If I had a question and phoned, I always had my question answered without hesitation.

Highly recommended. Best thing I ever did was walk into his clinic. I have had 2 surgeries done by him. Had breasts implants, butt lift with fat and liposuction to my tummy, back, and inner thighs. He’s the real deal. I live outside Manitoba and My girlfriends ask me all the time where I got my work done and I tell them in Winnipeg by Dr Islur. They always expect to hear someone in Toronto or Calgary did it, but nope. He transformed by body and put so much care into contouring my waist, back and abs. Yes it ain’t cheap but it’s your body and If you are looking for someone with the skill and expertise - not to mention a super nice humble person- don’t look any further.
I’ll be back for more!!!!!

I had a liposuction and BBL done. Really disappointed. No change in my body shape whatsoever. I’m okay with the BBL (not so impressive but still something) but horrible experience with liposuction. My right side looks completely untouched I don’t know if he missed it or what but when I asked him he keep on saying it’s swelling. I’m over 6 months post up right now and my right side still looks untouched. When I read the reviews I found that there are other people who also have the same issue with their liposuction. I’m not sure what’s going on but I’m very disappointed. Never going back. Now I have to find another doctor to fix his mistake. His staff are also very rude specially his post up nurses they can’t care less about you. The doctor himself is fine until you compare his work with works of his colleagues once that’s done he becomes ferrous. Overall I had a really bad experience starting from the staff to the doctor himself. The facility looks nice tho they had put more effort in making the facility look good than their patients.

I did my breast augmentation and full body Lipo here except for my abdomen. He is a real sculpture he really knows his stuff and I can’t even compare myself with how I used to look before all of these treatments. He is very supportive and does all he can to keep his client coming back! I was so lucky to find him before getting butchered by other doctors! God bless him!

I cannot be more ecstatic how my surgery went from start to finish. I have been thinking about a breast augmentation for about ten years now, and once I started at First Glance (on the injectable side) and saw how incredibly well run the surgery side is and Dr Islur’s outstanding work I knew it was the right choice!

Karen is an absolute Angel. It was my worst nightmare to be exposed and vulnerable but karen is very compassionate, warm and makes you feel totally comfortable with the consultation process and makes you feel at ease and answers any questions you may have. You know exactly what to expect throughout the entire process.

Dr islur has the most excellent bedside manner explained everything in detail. He is extremely knowledgeable, compassionate and truly talented at what he does. He listened to what I was hoping for and chose the perfect size to fit my body. I am beyond happy with my results!

Nurse Jen is absolutely excellent. I have a new found respect and admiration for her. She takes great pride in her work and I couldn’t have had a better nurse to take care of me ! She’s empathetic, knowledgeable and puts you right at ease during a unnerving time.

Once your surgery is done you go over to recovery while you wake up. A huge thank you to Lisa for putting up with me in recovery ! They make sure everything is set, your prescriptions promptly ready to pick up on your way home and make sure your safe while they walk you out.

I couldn’t have asked for a better experience and beyond grateful to work with such an amazing team. I enjoyed the whole process I would do it over in a heartbeat!
