Dr. Keen in my opinion is the best in Red Deer. I met him back in 2008 when one of my family members use to work with him. In 2011 I found out I was pregnant and he was the one and only person I could think of to have as my doctor. He is an amazingly kind soul. He is so passionate about his work and it clearly shows in all his patients. I had a very difficult pregnancy, I would see another doctor cause he would be book and they never took me seriously, but it never failed he would see that I had come in and seen someone else and he would personally call me that same day and see what was going on. When I went into labour I waited maybe half an hour for him to show up, he cancelled all his other appointments for that day and rushed to the hospital. He never left my room, when things got concerning he never sugar coated it, he told me straight up yet still in away that I never worried cause I knew I was in good hands with him. My labour was hard, yet he stayed positive and calm with still reassuring me that everything was going to be okay.
My daughter came out not breathing, and he never left her side as I had asked, I wanted his care on her not me. He got me a new doctor to finish up and he saved my baby girls life. I spent three days in the hospital and every single day he stayed with me for hours helping me and my child. He has now been mine and my daughters doctor for five years, and I will be so sad for the day he retires fully. The biggest shame to this all, to red deer is that he is now retired from deliver. I only wish he would be able to delivery my babies in the future.

So I will end with this. Thank you Dr. Brian Keen, without you I am scared that I wouldn't have my daughter. Without you I would never know where my health would be. You are a kind soul, an amazing person. Everything you have done for my family and I has not, and will not go un-noticed. Thank you, from the bottom of my heart.

Dr Keen is thoughtful, understanding, caring, helpful and brilliant. He cares about his patients. He knows us & we know him. He never rushes us, so sometimes he gets behind schedule - but I'd rather wait then be rushed when it's my turn. He is one of the most genuine people I have had the pleasure of knowing.
Dr Keen has been my doctor since I was 1 year old. He has treated 5 generations of my family. He is amazing! Best doctor ever!! He has delivered cousins and my own child. He knows more than I can even imagine and is always wanting to know more. Seriously, THANK YOU to my very favourite doctor! You are amazing!
Even my pharmacists comment about how he is the only doctor they know who will come by on his own time to ensure his patients prescriptions came through properly.

Dr.Keen is AWESOME!!!very compassionate, caring and helpful. He really cares and takes the time to listen and get to the bottom of things. He was my pre natal doctor and delivered my baby girl and then continued to keep me and my daughter as patients.He sees us monthly as my daughter and i both have serious health issues and he is very compassionate and caring and concerned about getting to the bottom of the issues and finding relief and solurtions to our issues. he has sent my daughter for multiple tests, to pediatricians and continued to monitor her and he has sent me for xrays, mri, bone scan and to a chronic pain specialist. He never gives up on us. I feel like he truly cares. An even though he is so busy he often calls me after hours from home to check up on us and even gave me his personal cell number to call him if i have any problems! how many doctors care so much on a personal level that they give you their personal cell phone number?! i recommend him to anyone!

Dr. Keen has been my family Dr. for many years. When I was told he quit it devistated me and then I was told he is keeping some of his patients i called. Don't know what I will do when he really retires. He is genuinely concerned. Calls you at home, drops off perscriptions when you can't, he is like the country doctors used to be. Dr. Keen is so compassionate and he truly care about his patience. He has delivered 2 of my babies and he was so calm and patient with me, I would refer him to anyone! We need more Doctors like Dr Keen.

Dr. Keen is part-time at the Village Mall Clinic where my doctor is now. He used to be at the clinic where my doctor was years ago. One day he saw me at the Villiage Mall clinic in the hall and still remembered my first name! How is that for a memory all these years later!!

Great doctor! Has always been very helpful! When my son got sick I saw two different doctors and had no idea what he had (a fever of 104 for a week), when I went to Dr. Keen he walked in the room and said oh your son has ..... and he was right!
