We received Excellent care from Dr Fields and from his Staff. Very impressed with showing us my daughters CT scan, most Specialists in Saginaw don't take the time. Spent quality time with us evaluating her. Very Impressed!!

best Dr. Any one who had a bad experience must be troubled. Nicest man, best bed side manner, very forth coming with information. The unfortunate thing about doing his job or any other is he is only human. He's not GOD. Some times things don't turn out for the best. But this man gives everything he has and is brutally honest with and for his patients. I am fortunate to have him for a Dr. I have been to others that I would not go back to. I will go to Dr. Fields as long as he is a practicing Dr. I hope he is around for the rest of my life. Wonderful man. Thank you.

I had spinal surgery in 2012, since then I've been through countless procedures and treatments for chronic nerve pain. I saw Dr. Field because I had hoped he would atleast attempt to help me. I was sadly mistaken. Instead he took one look at me and judged me based on my age. I have stenosis, neuropathy, arthritis all in my lumbar region of my spine and I take medications daily to treat my chronic symptoms, Dr. Field never once acknowledged my previous surgery or which medications I have to take, he instead decided to question the legitimacy of my pain in the first place. Now mind you he never looked at my records, my MRI's or X-rays, he looked at me and called me a liar. If any of you know how hard life is with chronic back pain, then having a doctor tell you your a liar and must have written all my medication prescriptions to myself, isn't going to help you. Please don't waste your time with this man, get a real doctor.

August 29, 2011, I had a cervical fusion performed by Dr. Field at St. Mary's in Saginaw. Dr. Field took time to answer all of my concerns, and gave me quality of life that I haven't had in years thanks to this surgery. I wound up having to stay an extra day in the hospital because my bladder wasn't fully emptying - normal post-surgical problem. Dr. field was notified of this problem and responded with instructions to the nurse within a half an hour (at the most) even though it was way past office hours. Typically, when I have had a hospital stay, you don't get to see your doctor until the late afternoon. I saw another comment that said the family had to come in at 4:00 am to see Dr. Field, my family stayed with me, so this is not a problem. As a matter of fact, I greatly appreciated that Dr.Field would come in early and make his recovering patients his first priority before going into his office or doing other surgeries. Dr.Field, his staff and St. Mary's Hospital are the best.
