Je suis vraiment chanceuse d'être suivi par Dr Alain. J'avais un gros problème de Candida Albicans qui a débuté depuis plusieurs mois. Les médecins m'avaient prescrit des médicaments pour plusieurs mois sans aucune amélioration. J'avais une problème de déglutition, brûlure à l'estomac. Depuis ma première consultation avec Dr Alain à travers le platforme ZOOM ma situation a commencé à s'améliorer grâce à ses prescriptions et à ses recommandations. July 16th 2020, that fateful day when it all started, I was bitten by a Tick. From the onset, I didn’t notice, since contrary to other insect bites or stings, ticks have a way of quietly sedating you without your knowledge while they go about their business. For the balance of the month of July, the Infectious disease “WALK IN CLINIC” at the JGH saw me more often than a syringe in a basket! It was a myriad of diagnosis, from you don’t have Lyme to testing for Lyme with the famous tier 2 testing protocol that seeks out antibodies within the blood stream since there is no known test to detect any presence of the pathogen.
Regardless of my chronic symptoms of joint pain, stiff neck and continuous headaches, Lyme was discounted and they recommended that I see a physiotherapist and/or Rheumatologist. Reluctant that I was, however solely to satisfy the ID specialists academic laurels and significant ego’s, I went to see a Rheumatologist. After a battery of tests; physical exam, X-Rays & blood work, the rheumatologist had good news for me. She said that inflammation markers and all blood work were perfectly normal with no antibodies indicating Rheumatoid Arthritis or significant other underlying autoimmune disease. When I asked her why I still had chronic joint pain, she replied; “perhaps you have hypochondriasis”. Really, if I knew that it was all in my head than I would have asked someone from the Neuro to have my head removed!
Clearly frustrated and at a loss, I called a friend in BC who told me that she had recently received successful treatment from a Naturopath for a particular challenging and debilitating physical condition. I visited the Mtl RateMDs website and came across Naturopath Dr. Alain De Bavelaere’s web site and the very satisfying and outstanding reviews. On that first meeting I felt reassured and confident that Dr. De Bavelaere would provide me with a program of health well-being. He was very professional and attentive to my health outline concerns and recent health challenges. He acknowledged that my symptoms were Lyme related and indicated that he had previous experience treating Lyme.
His plan of attack was to boost and strengthen my immune system, address the joint pain and muscle fatigue condition while recommending certain lifestyle management diet restrictions. His optimistic attitude and recommendations to date, four (4) months later have been a Godsend. I no longer suffer from chronic joint pain, and the muscle fatigue in my legs has greatly diminished. I highly recommend him to address whatever health challenges that you have while providing you with “PEACE OF MIND”.

Alain has helped me with my migraines, I was suffering for many years and I felt that the doctors never listened to me. Sometimes I would get a migraines for 2 to 3 days in a row. Once I had to go at the emergency because it was so bad. Alain took the time to listen to how my migraines felt. Now I hardly get any. I am so very grateful to Alain.

He a sincere, good and amazing person. Not only he gets to the bottom of your issue or condition but he is very compassionate about your worries and your well being!!!!
I went there with different issues and very overwhelmed. He took his time to listen to me carefully, ask the right questions to get to the bottom of my issues. I feel 100% better from when I first saw him. So many years with our "non existent " health care system and not only they couldn't help me but they had caused more problems with all side effects medications.
I can honestly say that Alain debavelaere is a life savior!!! He has also helped my son tremendously with his chronic allergies and eczema!!!

I have been seeing Dr. De Bavelaere since August 2020. I went to see him because I have hypothyroidism, Hashimoto’s disease, and many mystery symptoms that no doctor I've seen could explain or cure, such as very dry eyes, various food sensitivities, and occasional episodes of vertigo, migraines, extreme fatigue, vomiting and other digestive problems. After seeing numerous specialist doctors (endocrinologists, ENT doctors, allergists, internal medicine doctors, and ophthalmologists) who were not able to help me, as well as two other homeopaths whose treatments didn’t seem right to me, I decided to go see Dr. De Bavelaere.

Now, for the first time in 2.5 years since I got diagnosed with hypothyroidism and Hashimoto’s disease, all of my lab results came out normal! After 5 months of treatment, my antibodies for Hashimoto’s disease (TPO, Thyroid Peroxidase) went from 240 to 24 kIU/L (normal levels are under 35), my TSH went from 83.19 to 1.89 mIU/L (normal range is 0.35-5), and my T4 went from 2 to 14.4 pmol/L (normal range is 12-22). I should also mention that I stopped taking thyroid hormones months before starting the treatment with Dr. De Bavelaere.

The treatment I’ve been doing with Dr. De Bavelaere consists of taking various homeopathic pellets daily, doing breathing exercises, eating healthy, and working on my family relationships and emotional upsets with him with the help of the Evox machine.

Besides the great results I have had so far thanks to Dr. De Bavelaere, I very much appreciate his interpersonal qualities: he is friendly, kind, respectful, and has a good sense of humor.

If you are looking for a Naturopath with a wide area of expertise and knowledge I would recommend DR De Bavelaere. I was desperately seeking help for my 10 years son who has been suffering from Gerd disease his whole life. He has been on Prevacid for a decade and I was  afraid of increasing the dose and repercussions of harsh medicine for the rest of his life. So, it has been about  3.5 months since we started treatments and it has been an overall positive experience. I consider crossing paths with Dr. Alain a miracle. I have been suffering my entire life with horrible allergies and eczema. More often than not, I would lose focus at work and school because of my condition. Constantly sneezing and having a blocked nose nearly 6 days a week, it was inconvenient to even leave my house at times, knowing that I'd have to be back soon to take a shower and relax until the symptoms would go away. I was told by medical experts that this condition would last my entire life, considering that it's chronic, and there isn't much to do other than taking medication daily. The medical system let me down with their suggestions of taking steroid sprays and cortisone creams for the rest of my life. Since the first time I and my family consulted him (around two years ago) he has been a huge part of our healing process, not only because of the homeopathic treatment but for his feedbacks.
