I’ve been seeing Dr. Katz for over six years with pre-cancer on the top of my head. And those six years at least four lesions have turned up to be basal cell cancer. On my last visit two years ago I had a lesion on my head made an appointment knowing that it was some type of cancer lesion . I was hoping he would remove it right away because it took me three months to get the appointment. After looking at it he told me I had to book another appointment to have it removed. Three weeks later he removed it. But during that visit he could not freeze it properly and the lesion was never removed properly. You would think that that would’ve been a red flag Sent me home and within three weeks it came back vigorously. Had to make another appointment which took one month and when he looked at it he said you have to go see a plastic surgeon. After two months and not hearing from his office or a plastic surgeon I ended up in emergency to find And they sent me to a plastic surgeon within three weeks.Thanks Dr. Katz for your caring I now have an indent in the top of my head the size of a loony. A doctor that believes in making money rather than dealing with a patient’s care.

Honestly, this man saved my mental health with a horrible misdiagnosed fungal infection I had been battling for 6 months. I had seen many doctors but the stars lined up when I was referred to him! Very kind, very knowledgeable, took the time to answer all my questions , and explain his thoughts and best of all, he was the only one to diagnose me correctly. Hands down one of the best dermatologists out there. I cannot thank him enough for saving me from one of the most stressful, misdiagnosed, painful skin conditions I have ever had.

I expected the wait time to be a lot longer than it was, being a specialist. He was kind and considerate and offered a solution immediately. I have to agree with others that the receptionist is a bit dramatic when booking follow-up appointments as if its so difficult to get in to see him, almost like she wanted to argue about it, but I refrained from telling her I'd go elsewhere because I liked Dr. Katz.

Finally a great dermatologist! Doesn't keep you waiting forever, knowledgeable, friendly and personable. It's refreshing to have a genuine conversation with a dermatologist who is able to explain what is happening and how he can help, with a smile no less.

the most outstanding physician. He is wonderful with my kids and always fits us in even though he may already be booked. He never rushes you and always greets you in a warm manner. I have absolute trust and faith in his abilities and would definitely recommend him to anyone seeking a new doctor.
