I had L3/L4 fusion, surgery went well. I had great care at the hospital and walked to my car 24 hours after my surgery. Recovery has been very good. I have had care from everyone involved.

I had major back surgery performed by Dr, Dolphin which turned out wonderfully. He always took his time and explained things clearly and I never felt rushed. Whenever I had a question his staff was always courteous and got back to me promptly. I also had my hips done at Orthopedic Specialists and also had a very satisfactory experience. I will not be going anywhere else with any orthopedic needs!

Dr. Dolphin and his staff are exceptional. I was able to get an appointment quickly and a surgery date within 2 weeks. My pain was almost completely gone immediately after surgery and totally pain free just 9 days later. I would highly recommend Dr. Dolphin and his staff. Wonderful Experience!

Dr. Dolphin and his Team were fantastic to work with. He made himself available to me right away when I had a herniated disc. He and his team made sure I understood the process of my surgery and recovery. His appt times were spot on with little to no wait.

My first visit with Dr. Michael Dolphin was nothing short of amazing. A surgeon who show concern about me not just about doing surgery. He was concerned about my well being and did a complete explanation of all my back issues and things we could try without surgery first. Dr. Dolphin performed surgery on me and the results are nothing short of amazing. I had three bone spurs and two ruptured disks (C5-6, C6-7) and my cervical fusion surgery was successful. His staff is also top rate. I had minimal pain (just a minor sore throat) for a few days and my recovery was quick and complete. I knew what to expect every step of the way due to the team's thoroughness. From Dr. Dolphin's explanation of what was required, to the daily follow-up with a nurse for the first week after surgery, and physical therapy at the ten-day mark, I was confident in the team (and my expectations and progress) every step of the way. I highly recommend Dr. Dolphin and Orthopaedic Specialists in Davenport, Iowa.

I pray I never have need for another surgery, but if I do I will definitely go back to Dr. Dolphin and staff. Even during this pandemic, and not being able to have my husband with me, I was put at ease immediately by absolutely everyone. And I never felt like I asked a silly question! I had 3 surgeries in 1 year by this Dr. After the last one I was worse and he did not return my calls for 3 days. I finally got him on the phone and I ended up dismissing him from my care.

I had a herniated disc at L4-L5 The pain in my leg was extremely intense prior to surgery. I am one week past surgery and I am pain free.
