Sans meme avoir connu le patient, et sur les paroles du DR.James Farquhar(psychiatre) et ses intervenants de l'Hopital Douglas, elle a déposé une injonction contre la famille devant la cour provinciale pour demander d'écarter la famille du patient pour traiter le patient contre son gré et de force. Elle n'a jamais retourné des appels du patient et ni de sa famille.

Im not sure.. but sometime i think people mix Psychiatrist ans psychothérapie.. before rating please be sure than you where in the right place.. anyway.. dr Israel is a good doctor, patient, up to date, helpful wathever if she was late sometime.. its already a miracle than the personal can organise the schedule.. well sorry for my english.. Dr israel est vraiment un docteur remarquable, je pense que, dans le domaine de la psychiatrie elle peut 1- aider les patients (et ce d'une façon extrêmement disponible et aidante .. que ce soit juste sur les rappels téléphoniques a l'externe ou encore la pratique à l'interne) 2-favoriser des changements dans l'opinion publique sur des questions de santé mentale) Bref.. très bonne psychiatre et très bonne implication dans la communauté.

AMAZING. The only reason she was ever late was because she was finishing up with other patients; she will not leave you crying/upset because of a lack of time. She saved my life, and my sanity. I adore her. She is the kind of doctor who will call you back before the weekend on a Friday afternoon even if you called at 2:00 pm that day. Dedicated, sympathetic, always there. Fantastic and BRILLIANT

I saw this lady for 7 sessions and she was never on time; she sometimes was even 15 minutes late for a 50 minute appointment. She was rushed with me, too, and I think she was less helpful because of this. She seemed to be pretty knowledgeable about her stuff, but kept brushing off questions about medication as unimportant. Sometimes I felt unlistened to.

Elle sait vous faire dire n'importe quoi! Jamais je n'ai été capable de mentir sur elle.. C'est le seul medecin en qui j'ai confiance... Si elle me dit quelque chose, je sais qu'elle a raison! Même si je ne suis pas guérie encore, je crois qu'elle est digne de confiance et qu'elle est très compétente

Dr Mimi Israel is very knowledgeable and brillant, as well as extremely helpful. Please note her mother tongue was probably french. She is late and hurried because she has (too many??) several jobs and responsibilities. I would recommend her to any francophone contemplating suicide or suffering from eating disorder, her area of expertise. I am perplexed she is accepting new patients as she is, in addition to all of the above, a professor and Dr Mimi chairs several committees and works for the Collège des médecins.........................................

Dr. Israel is an angel from heaven. She truly saved my life. Beyond being an incredibly skilled physician, who has tremendous responsibilities to deal with, she is an amazingly kind, empathetic and genuine person that we are lucky to have. I will be grateful to her forever for the help she gave me when I was sick.
