Had oral surgery for extraction. Discussed prior medical conditions seizures anxiety etc during consultation. Promised that I would be first appt. Arrived on time, was head and arm was restrained with painful iv, and bite block. Was not given enough medicatiosn to make me comfortable or unconscious. Begged staff to get my husband who had my medication that I told them I felt like I was going to have a seizure. They kept telling me no and rudely telling me to stop moving. Heard the Dr. working on another patient while I was left lying there retrained with bite block in. While the extraction healed great, I felt very violated and restrained against my will. My jaw was more sore from the mouth block being in forever than form the surgery. The staff then rushed me to the vehicle and had me gone in seconds before I could discuss anything with my husband. They never informed him of anything. My doctors had already approved me to take medication as needed for this, but they would not even allow this. At some point they must realize that it becomes restraint against ones will.. I feel traumatized. Find another surgical office. It would have been totally different if they did not leave me lying there restrained freaking out that I may seize with my head and and arm restrained and a bite block in the whole time I waited. Every other surgery to include oral surgery I have always been medicated and unconscious before all of this happens

I have seen Dr. Sammons for 2 different procedures and I cannot say enough nice things about him!

Had two upper teeth extracted today by Dr. Sammons. The initial consultation was quick and today's visit was very prompt and orderly, too. He and his staff were very pleasant, kind and quick to answer any questions. The extractions went better then he expected and gave me credit back on the bill "downgrading the extraction" he said. Later in the evening he really surprised me by personally calling me to see how I was doing. First time a dentist called me to see how I was doing. Impressed I am. Very impressed.

Tooth that decayed under a crown had to be removed. Dr. Sammons and his staff worked me in during the busiest time of the year and removed the damaged tooth. I experienced no discomfort after the extraction and my recovery has been fantastic. Thanks to him and his staff.

Staff lacking knowledge of insurance and their attitudes “can careless” ! Their policy for prior visits is not honored for same services provided within the allotted time frame of visit, just for the sake of more money. NEVER will go back or recommend to anyone, unless you have money to spend for services you already paid & contacting insurance company to figure your own coverage.
