FANTASTIC pediatrician. Can't say enough good things about this Dr. He's helpful, friendly, great with the kids and he is open to all kinds of parenting styles. So happy with Derby Pediatrics.

We love doctor Mulawka office. We currently go to the derby office. Love it!!! The staff is very friendly. I love that they know me and my children. I don't feel like my kids are another number like some of these big practices. I see the same physicians all the time and they KNOW my kids. I love that if there is ever an emergency they will allow us to see a physician at another one of there 3 locations. The wait Time for the doctor can be pretty long but where can you go that isn't. My husband and I would recommend going to them.

We have had very good experiences with Dr. Mulawka. We like his straight-forward but laid back approach. He said right at our first visit with him that he'll always give his opinion but he "won't ever tell you how to raise your kids." We liked that (especially since we've had some not so good experiences with a past dr who wanted everything done her way only). We see him at his Silver Creek office most often and really like the staff there. He's always reasonably on time and calm and friendly. There are some areas where his knowledge is lacking (breastfeeding being one big thing - but I am thankful that I had other resources to know better). Definitely a dr that I would recommend.

Dr. Mulawka is a wonderful Dr. I have had the pleasure of dealing with him in and out of his practice, he is great with my kids, tells it like it is. I would not trust anyone else with my children. The PA on the other hand - while she is very nice, just never seems to know what the answer is, like she is always guessing. Office staff is not friendly, however, the nurses are wonderful.

Dr Mulawka is a fantastic pediatrician. Very knowledgeable and I trust him to take good care of my kids. Some people may not like his communication style, but my husband and I appreciate his candor. He doesn't push meds unnecessarily and always takes our concerns seriously. He's straightforward and honest and we've never felt rushed during an appointment. I have to agree with the other comment about the Physicians Assistant - I'm not a fan of her. She's wonderful with the kiddos, but I've felt like she hasn't taken my concerns seriously and has questioned my judgment (and my child ended up having a condition which left undiagnosed would have been very serious).

The Nursing staff is top notch! The office will always try to see you on the same day for sick calls. Dr Mulawka is very personable and has a great rapport with the kids. He usually will answer the phone himself if you call after hours. Sometimes his communication is lacking, but overall a very good and available doctor.
