I could not have been more dissatisfied with my visit to Dr. Horn. I did not find him to be very knowledgeable at all in treating my skin condition; much of the information he gave me was either incomplete or outright false. Very arrogant and temperamental when dealing with sensitive medical issues- I would never visit him again if I had the choice.

This doctor refused to prescribe topical antibiotic gel for my son's acne and insisted on him taking the oral one. I wanted him to try the topical first. It seems almost all doctors are in the profession for money. They want their patients to take those harmful oral ones for two or three months so they can make more money. I am sure they would not treat their own children the way they do others.

I recently went to Dr. Horn after several years of being treated by another dermatologist for multiple skin problems and am so glad I did. He and his office are top notch. He listens patiently and is very knowledgeable, professional and deliberate in his approach. He has a confident assuring manner and offers sound advice and reasoning for his treatment recommendations, far different from my previous experience.

I've been going to Dr. Horn for almost 10 years now for psoriasis. We've undergone many different types of treatments which some have been helpful & some have not. However, I had 2 no show appointments the last 2 months because I had a change in my work schedule. I was advised if I was to not show up I'd be charged. My second time (February) I actually canceled with someone and my call got disconnected but they never received the information. As I was scheduling my follow up visit I was told they'd charge me $70 for the no show and she asked if I wanted to speak with the office manager to challenge that visit. The visit was for a month ago, how could anyone prove or disprove that? I didn't want to get into an altercation with an office that basically controlled the condition of my skin so I just paid. I think its absolutely absurd. I understand that appointments are made for a reason but to basically call me a liar & challenge me like that I think was so unprofessional and rude.

I have seen Dr. Horn a couple of times for removal of 2 sebacious cysts. He is an excellent dermatologist, and I highly recommend him. He is very courteous, professional, and mild mannered; not to mention he really takes his time with you. His staff is also very welcoming and courteous. I will continue to see Dr. Horn when needed. So glad I found him!

Excellent dermatologist. Highly recommend Dr. Horn. Knowledgeable, fully answers questions, explains in laymen's terms, offers treatment options if there are viable alternatives. Pleasant, friendly, professional. Staff were friendly, professional. Nice, clean office in professional medical building. Mounted magazine covers describing him as an award-winning dr are hanging in waiting room. Comforting affirmation of his credentials.

Once you get into see Dr. Horn you know he is an excellent doctor. I have 100% trust in him and see him yearly for a complete cancer check. I do not find his staff helpful or friendly. He helped me and worked very carefully with my other doctors when I had an MRSA infection. I also had an allergic reaction from a medication that he gave me and he was very concerned and checked up on me. He is not currently taking new patients which tells me he is very good. However I have to say because of the staff I have been reluctant to make a recommendation to him. I don't need to pay to be treated rudely.
