If you want to save yourself some aggravation, “DONOT”, use Johnston Pain Management. The Staff is useless, they don’t answer the phone, they don’t reply to emails and they don’t reply to their own website communicator/messaging system. Johnston is never punctual or even close to it. I have never been seen anywhere near my scheduled appointment time, it has always been an hour past or more. Once seen and you question Johnston about the issues you experienced with his office he becomes defensive, angry and argumentative. His prescriptions are always submitted incorrectly or to the wrong pharmacy delaying or being rejected totally for your required medication. Johnston’s attitude is self-absorbed, arrogant, self-centered and unsympathetic to his patients and their time. After months of trying to work with Johnston and giving them the benefit of the doubt, my frustration and stress level became unacceptable and I realized patients should not have to go through this and we have other highly qualified, very professional and competent pain management professionals who respect their patients and their time. Fire him! and go somewhere else, as I did, ' and don’t settle for this kind of service.

I was referred to this joker. He accused me of being a drug seeker in spite of the fact that I was taking a low dose of Vicodin and was there for a nerve block injection. He wanted to put me on a high dose of pain meds in spite of the fact that I told he I wanted to avoid pain meds. That's why I was there for the injection. You would be wise to go elsewhere.

I attended this office several times. If you need a call back forget it, you might as well call everyday or they don't respond. Trying to get an appt took forever and if you take 1 pill more than prescribed they are all over you. Too much drama between the staff for me. I switched clinics

The staff has always been more than helpful and extremely polite. I have been seeing Dr. Johnston (and his staff) for several months. They have always given me medications to help with my pain. If they did not work, they tried another until they found something that did work. I had two steroid injections. The second injection hurt me worse and Dr. Johnston told me to never get another one again. They are wonderful, he knows his job very well and is always more than willing to answer questions. If one of the staff does not know an answer, they will get it.

I spent over 6 months dealing with Dr Johnston and it was a total waste of time, I went to him in an excessive amount of pain and he refused to try anything except non narcotic medication even when nothing else helped, he even told me numerous times that my pain was due to my weight (I am only 230 lbs). I tried explaining that none of the drugs they were prescribing me were working and they just kept insisting that I get a spinal epidural even though I explained to them that my father had the procedure done and it made him much worse than ever before. Finally after close to 8 months of dealing with him they discharged me saying they couldn't help me any more than they had and sent me away without enough tramadol to last me until I could see another Dr, and when I requested a refill they ignored all my calls for a week, until Friday when they told me it would be taken care of and then declined the refill request and closed the office for the weekend allowing me to go through withdrawal!

The staff was rude and aloof. They scheduled me for several appointments at which they did nothing and they were never on time. They insisted that I take high levels of narcotic drugs when all I needed was an epidural. Avoid Johnston Pain Management.

A few months ago I was on a motorcycle going to lunch and a **** on duty police officer smashed into me. Needless to say I had multiple fractured and shattered bones. After spending two hours waiting to see the highly over rated Dr. I was told I would have to wait an additional two hours to see them because of a computer error on their part. This is a pain management office, I was in pain. There was no way I was going to sit, stand, or lay in that office for that long so I left. Upon leaving I encountered the good Dr. in the parking lot practicing his golf swing. I will never go back.

Dr. Johnston was extremely rude and unhelpful. He also prescribed me medicine that has nothing to do with my condition.
