The best doctor I’ve ever been to. She is always caring, helpful, and efficient.

On the July long weekend when the ER department in neighboring Cold Lake was shut down, for who knows why, patients had to be diverted to Bonnyville, 1/2 hour away. Thank GOD Dr. Lavoie was on call, providing care for the town of Bonnyville, AND the CITY of Cold Lake and patients in Saskatchewan. She obviously remembers her Hippocratic Oath, because her knowledge, dedication, kindness and passion made you feel that you were in good hands. How lucky we are to have this special lady among us. She truly is in a class by herself.

This Doctor really is in a class by herself. Her knowledge, experience, compassion, humility, dedication, and sense of humor is second to none. This is not just a job for her, it’s a profession, or a calling. Unlike so many other doctors, she certainly does not do it for the money, packing in patients, rushing through them all, and spending no time with anyone. She never seems to be disinterested, or in a rush, looking at her watch or motioning to the door that it’s time for the patient to leave. It will be a very sad day for the town AND surrounding area when she decides it’s time to retire. There will certainly be very big shoes to fill, after 35 years of service.

Phenominal doctor, have seen her on multiple occasions for minor emergencys and also had the pleasure of her being with us through 2 c sections (anesthesiologist) she's fun, caring, attentive and thorough with everything she does.

I had Dr. Lavoie for 20 years until I moved away. I miss her very much! She took the time to explain everything and even learned to administer Botox therapeutically just because I needed someone to help me with my pain. She is a saint. Great sense of humour, wonderful with my kids and now my grandkids! I owe her so much.
