i was having problems with constipation and my regular doctor referred me to see dr. safier. this is the most uncomfortable experience i've ever had with a doctor. the office building is nice and the girl that works for him is nice, but that is where all the positive things end. doctor became very nasty with me because i forgot to mention that i had a surgery when i was 5 years old. he started saying negative things about american medicine, polish people (i was born in poland and his practice is in a largely polish neighborhood in brooklyn), and young people. he was putting down my other doctors and saying they didn't know what they were talking about when it came to my previous diagnoses. he's very arrogant and doesn't know what he's talking about. i won't be returning to this man.

Overall my visit was good but I feel sorry for his staff. I heard him making unappropriate comments. He is very rude to his coworkers.

Went to see him a few weeks ago... doctor is amazing... Talk to Marie not Monika. Monika is not helpful at all. Overall good experience with the doctor.

Dr. Safier is one of the better doctors that I've been to. The office is very nice and clean, he is very knowledgable and the staff are polite and friendly. I would definitely recommend him to others.

The doctor was the best, through and polite. He genuinely cares about his patients. However, his staff were unprofessional and outright rude. I hope he reads this and does something about it.
