I have been a patient of Dr. Shuford for over 5 years. From the moment he entered the exam room I felt at ease with him. I was a bit nervous because my issue was very personal and it was all for not. He was professional yet personable with a tinge of humor to put me at ease.

I am sorry that I can't be original and I must have something in common with the person who wrote: Dr. Shuford gave me misinformation based on a personal bias. His arrogance and UNPROFESSIONALISM is unbecoming to such a well educated person and it cost me additional surgeries. I have NEVER been so mistreated and disrespected by any other professional, and it only took him 3-4 minutes to do so. Lesson: if you go to a Dr. who verbally assaults, or blames another Dr. for your illness,.....RUN. No matter how sick or desperate you are....RUN

I am currently seeing Dr. Shuford prostate cancer. His gentle nature and wonderful bedside manner put you at ease even under the most stressful of situations. He takes his time in ensuring you understand everything and listens carefully with out making you feel rushed. I am so elated to have found him. I would steadfastly recommend him to anyone.

I have been seeing Dr.Shuford for over 3 years and have always had a great experience with each visit. I would recommend him and his polite office staff to anyone. He is very good about explaining your condition in terms that make you feel comfortable and at ease. His bed side manner is awesome. He is very knowledgeable and offers the patient choices,so that you feel that you have a say in your medical plan of treatment.Even though his office is downtown Dallas at Baylor University Medical Center it is worth the drive and really not hard to locate and well worth the drive.

Dr Shuford is a very caring, helpful Dr in every possible way. He takes his time with you and explains everything that he thinks will help you. I would reccomend him to everyone who needs help in his field.

When there was a tumor found in my kidney Dr Shuford worked diligently in locating the culprit, removing it and making sure I was well taken care of. There was always an open line of communication if I had questions he answered them, if my husband had questions he answered them too. He was highly concerned with my amount of pain and nausea after the procedure. My hat off to Dr. Shuford and Baylor Hospital and staff!!

The 2 earlier reviews are teh exact opposite of my experience with Dr. Shuford. I am 66 years old and have seen a lot of doctors in my time. He spent more time, was more forthright and more compassionate than any other physician I have ever seen. That is the problem with these review sites is typically only people that are upset post comments. For that matter, anyone with a personal grudge or a competitor could post anything. By the way, I had the same procedure mentioned above, and it went great.
