Dr Luke arrived 45 minutes late from lunch; conducting the entire intake appt wearing sunglasses so dark I could not make eye contact with her. She had a dog with her, without asking me what I thought of that; she consumed 2 large tumblers of water during the 30 minute appt; missing her mouth more often than not. She asked me the same questions repeatedly and had clearly not read my GPs referral. She focused more on inquiry as to my 2 children than regarding my reasons for seeking service. She asked 4 times if I thought my son was gay... an irrelevant question; completely out of context. The "assessment" ended as abruptly as it had begun with her prescribing a med for anxiety. When I asked about side effects she said,"Oh, no one has any trouble with this." and suggested I Google it. She finished up with inane, inappropriate comments: "Sometimes things get worse before they get better, every cloud has a silver lining, keep your chin up." I was not heard; not assessed. What a farce!?!?!

Never seemed to remember me, saw her for years and she still asked me the same questions every visit, how old my kids were, whether I had a boyfriend or not. One time told me to "do something with your hair" (I had just gotten a new style, guess she didn't like it). As her patient I felt invisible and very much like I didn't matter. No follow up on missed appointments. Every time you want talk about anything important or emotionally charged she stops you by asking you to repeat it (she's partially deaf, I think) and so you really lose momentum/continuity and can't ever seem to get her to connect or understand your feelings.

She was not helpful at all. She's deaf and should have retired yrs ago. She told me to get my haircut and come back in a month. She doesn't seem to be up to date on this profession. Would never recommend her to anyone, no matter how desperate.

not helpful at all..."come back if you still have the problem in a month or so". I wouldn`t have come if I didn`t need help & sending a child to foster care is not help..I would feel worse(I know better)Child not the problem! Got good help elsewhere & still have child!

I've been her patient for approx 13 years and this woman is a saint. I am truly thankful she is maintaining her practice although she could have long ago retired. She is extremely knowledgeable, has always given me excellent care (even when I thought I knew better), is always avialble in an emergency and considers the wellbeing of the family as well as the patient. I can not say enough good about this dedicated and caring doctor. You can't pull the wool over her eyes, and she includes you in making decisions about your treatment. I wish more doctors were like her and i wish more people were lucky enought to have her as a doctor.
