I had a great first experience with Dr. Freed after recently moving to the area. I found he had a good sense of humor and bedside manner, and also was very competent as a dentist. He actually did the cleaning himself, versus one of his dental assistants, which I thought was amazing.

My husband and I have been patients of both Dr. Barbara & Dr. Gordon Freed for a couple of years. During that time we have had routine check-ups, cleanings, fillings and tooth extractions. We have had nothing but favorable experiences at every visit. Neither one of them has ever tried to push expensive procedures, and they take into account what is normal for your age & circumstances when making recommendations. We have really appreciated the fact that they are not "alarmists," as are other dentists who have treated us before. They are both very personable, as well. We have never had to wait an extensive amount of time for scheduled appointments. The staff is friendly and professional. I recommend the Freeds highly in all regards, and greatly appreciate the fact that they are not "high-pressure salespeople" as some other dental practices in the area.

The assistants are more professional than the actual dentist. He was lazy, absent minded, and displayed moronic qualities. Went for a toothache, a regular, run of the mill toothache. HE DID NOTHING! All he told me was that I will "lose my tooth in 5 YEARS." When I asked what I could do now and in the future to prevent it, he ignored my question and went on to something else. I am still in pain. He didn't take anything seriously. Which is funny because GORDON FREED/ NEWMARKET DENTISTRY is a joke! He should not be in practice.

I love the Freeds! Both are friendly and are always willing to work with their patients on financial matters. I've never had to wait more than ten minutes for an appointment. They are quick to get you in their schedule and rarely ask you to move your appointment time. If they do ask me and I can't do it, they NEVER give me a hard time about it. Great Dentists, Great Work.

New practice, local & took my insurance. Went to this practice in an emergency. Very polite...AT FIRST. Nine months later made appts. for me/family. Kept getting calls, but no voicemails (caller ID). Finally, they left message that THEY changed my appt to a half hour later. Also, they called and wanted to move my family's appt an hour earlier(3pm). Said wouldnt be home from school, BUT could get there ABOUT 45-30 minutes sooner(3:15-3:30) than originally scheduled. We did. When arrived, stated that family was late to the appt. and they DO NOT RESCHEDULE for missed appts! I went in and told them that someone called ME and asked if I could come earlier. They "acted" like they didn't know what was going on and asked me if I knew the person's name. I didn't, although 1 of 2 receptionists did sound familiar. Also, the one that spoke to me is THE one that called and left a message changing MY appt. BELIEVE, TRYING TO HAVE EXCUSE TO GET RID OF ME/MY INSURANCE. WHY TAKE IT IN THE FIRST PLACE??
