Dr. Gilmour was absolutely amazing! Very helpful and personable. I brought my 3 year old daughter to most of my appointments with me and he always made an effort to pay special attention to her too and made her feel involved in the process. He was my OB for my second child and the difference between his care and my previous doctors was unbelievably outstanding! His care of me during my pregnancy and the delivery helped make this a very special time for my family. His understanding of my special medical needs was reassuring and helped to insure my rapid recovery. I cannot thank, praise or recommend this doctor highly enough!

Dr. Gilmour delivered my second baby. He was great! He was very professional and didn't waste any time. He was patient with all of our questions. He posed for pic's after my son arrived and was so gracious! He is a big guy, but so gentle. They call him the gentle giant on the Gyn. wing :)

I found that Dr. Gilmour was an amazing doctor. He always answered my questions (not making me feel dumb for asking them) My husband being a Leaf fan, wanted to keep calling him Dougie (bonus for him LOL). But honestly, very knowledgeable, understanding and kind. I was overdue, he explained my options to me, and told me what days he would be working so that he'd be the one to deliver my son. Now pregnant with my second, i'm going back to him for sure!

first appointment thought his bedside manner was ruff. However every appoinmtment after was great! I had full confidence in him and he took the time with me. He ended up being the on call the day of my labour (which had numerous complications). I now have two healthy beautiful children. If I have more I will try to get him again even if he relocated, he was amazing!

I was lucky enough to have Dr Gilmour as my OB and also deliver my baby. He was wonderful - very quiet but always smiling. I found that he was open to me asking questions, but wasn't necessarily forthcoming with information if he wasn't asked. He also was great delivering my baby and actually saved my son's life. He was very calm under the circumstances and I feel fortunate that he was the doctor on call during the delivery. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him, or go to him again for any other pregnancy.

AMAZING DOCTOR. I would not have of traded my experience with him for the world, he knew what he was doing and took all precautions to make sure my baby and I remained healthy during the pregnancy. He made me feel safe, and that I could trust him. He truly cares about his patients are I recommend him to all of my friends, whom adore him as well. Definitely the best in the business.

I had the most horrible experience with Dr Gilmore. I got the impression from him that because I was closer to 40 that I was too old to have a baby. He never wanted to examine me. The mistake I made was staying with him although I had seen a bad attitude from the beginning. I kept telling myself that in a few months I wouldn't have to deal with him again. He may be knowledgeable, I don't know; I didn't benefit from it.

I was satisfied with Dr Gilmour and his bedside manner. He answered all my questions and even gave my husband and i a wonderful christmas present. We asked him to write the sex of our baby on a paper and stuff it in an envelope so we can open it Christmas morning and he did it for us and wrote out something nice too instead of writing "boy" or "girl" Very sweet, caring man. Don't let them big hands fool ya girls...he is really very gentle. I went to him at his scarborough office and i never liked his receptionist. I hope to go to him again soon. I hope his secretary at his new office is nicer!

Dr. Gilmour is a wonderful doctor. He treated my husband and I with respect and took the time to answer all of our questions. He has great bedside manners and is patient. I felt in good hands. He followed me for 2 of my 4 pregnancies and delivered my 3rd baby and he did a good job... I, however, preferred my previous doctor's delivery style. Nevertheless, I would recommend him. (not to mention he is handsome and smells wonderful).

Great OBGYN! He answered all of my questions and did not make me feel as if I was wasting his time. He is very honest and thorough.
