I have been seeing Dr. Chea for several years. As a doctor, I think she is good— knowledgeable, thorough, is open to answering questions, etc. But from the first time I saw her, she constantly, first & foremost, mentioned my weight! The last time I saw her, she questioned every single medication that other Hopkins doctors have prescribed for me, but worse than that, she berated and belittled me constantly about my weight throughout the entire visit. I’m a middle-aged woman and she spoke to me like I was some stupid, ignorant nobody. Yes, I am overweight, but I didn’t need to be embarrassed & belittled by another person just because she has MD behind her name. I was so upset the rest of the day, that I had difficulty returning to work & barely spoke to anyone the rest of the day. Not everyone can achieve slim perfection! My husband said we don’t need to pay someone to make me feel like this. If you have similar issues, I encourage you to establish care with a different PCP.

Dr. Chea is a great doctor, friendly and firm, not wishy washy. Very thorough, does not rush through appointment. Finally found a doctor that will listen and not blow me off. Have not had a problem with referrals as prior poster, she has always taken my concerns seriously and referred me to specialist when necessary. So glad to finally find a competent, caring physician.

Dr. Chea is the most wonderful pediatrician! She is exceptionally knowledgable and caring. Her willingness to go above and beyond for her little patients and their parents is second to none. Bravo!

I've been seeing Dr. Chea since I moved to Maryland three years ago. She is a great family practice doctor. She is patient and thorough. I would recommend her to anyone!!!

Dr. Chea is very courteous and compassionate. I have been seeing her for three years and she has been very professional and knowledgeable at every appointment. She takes the time to have a conversation with you and looks you in the eye.

Dr. Chea is considerate and professional. The wait time in the office is about average, and the staff members are generally polite. Dr. Chea goes out of her way to be helpful and to listen to you. She also has a handy computer that lets her email your prescriptions straight to your pharmacy. I would recommend Dr. Chea The referral department at this doctor's office is not impressive though.
