My OBGYN performed an ANA screening after suffering 3 miscarriages, and it came back positive, so I was referred to Dr. Jonnala.

First off, I cannot say enough good things about her staff... Her receptionist, nurses are so friendly, and professional. My favorite was her phlebotomist. I actually looked forward to giving blood, just so I'd get to chat with her!!

Dr . Jonnala diagnosed me with lupus. I had the raynaud's, muscle/joint pain, sun sensitivity, and of course the positive ANA.

I started on the plaquenil, and a year into seeing her I was put on Cellcept, but had to stop taking it, because it wrecked my immune system, and was got infection after infection during cold season. After 3 years, and the added diagnosis of fibromyalgia, and IBS I hadn't seen vast improvement. She did some more testing that determined I didn't even have lupus, which puzzled me... Why didn't she do this more conclusive test from the start??

She took me off the plaquenil, and I was told to get another opinion, which I respect, but I really felt dumped.

My symptoms worsened without the plaquenil, and the rhematoligist that she recommended had a 3 month waiting period for new patients.

Being in the right place at the right time I got an appointment with Dr Myerson, one of the top rated rhematoligists in Atlanta.

Since seeing him, he diagnosed me with U.C.T.D., and put me back on plaquenil.

Dr Jonnala was always kind , and very sympathetic towards my ailments, but when it came to me asking her direct questions about my ailments, I never got real answers. I feel her expertise was lacking, like she wasn't even willing to seek another possible solution to my condition, she just sent me packing.

I think if your condition is straight forward, and well managed, she's great. But we all know autoimmune diseases can be tricky.

She is a pill pusher. Could care less about her patients. Seemed uninterested in my problems and said take these pills you'll feel better. I didn't. Called the dr with reaction. Did not return my call. I had to call again. Very unhelpful.Changed doctors.

I have been seeing Dr. Jonnala for over a year. Her staff is always courteous and her nurse is the best I have ever seen at drawing blood. Dr. Jonnala has given me hope and has improved my life tremendously. She is always careful to listen and then prescribes from what she hears I have fibromyalgia and she is willing to try other remedies as needed. She is a doctor that I would highly recommend.

The atmosphere is very relaxing, I waited maybe 20 minutes tops to see her and I was a new patient. Once in the room, she took the time to listen to my medical history and exam me. She asked what medicines I had been on in the past and which ones worked and did not work for me, then she gave her recommendation. So far, what she ordered for me has made me feel at least 80-90% better. I'am amazed how quickly I felt better. I've even been able to exercise again at the gym...I didn't think it was possible with all the pain that I had. I wake up in the morning and the only soreness I have is from exercising too much (I smile again just thinking about that). I'm enjoying my life again, thanks to Dr. Jonnala!

I am a relatively new patient, Dr Jonnala has helped me more than most against the usual prognosis nothing can be done for osteoarthritis.

I have just completed my first visit and found the atmosphere calm and receptive. I did have to wait awhile for them to get to me but the Dr Jonnala gave me all the time I needed. She listened well and concersed with me about my concerns. the lab test needle work of the nurse was flawless.
