She did surgery on my foot. Gong show start to finish

I am very happy with my surgery. I can walk again without pain. Very professional and knowledgeable. All my questions were answered. As long as any doctor does a great job I don't worry about them holding my hand constantly. Doctors have a lot of stress and most are overworked. Let's give them credit for the great job they do and the negativity some people direct at them. They are human after all

I can see how some may have concerns with Dr. Daly's "bedside manner" because I was a tad intimidated by her. But once I was about to be taken into surgery for my ankle, she wanted another Xray to be sure I needed it. She rolled me down to Xray herself. She's a bit abrupt, yes. But she gets the job done. My ankle has healed nicely. The only negative thing I "might" add is that she had very high expectations of what I should be able to do during my "rahab". Once everything came off, she gave me exercises to do, then I'd have to be able to do them by the next appointment. Well, trying to go up on my toes on one leg, on the one that had the broken ankle, was hard. She didn't seem to think I needed physio so no referral was made but I reached out to physio and started which was a huge help.

I had a hip replacement 3 years ago , from the time of my first visit it was less than 3 months I was in surgery .Very Professional, she explained everything in detail and went above and beyond as I was nervous having an epidural . Her Staff was amazing and very helpful from the time of my first visit till my last visit . I highly recommend Dr Joyce Daly !

Attended for an assessment of a complete knee replacement. I found Dr Daly t be professional, personable and took time to explain the process to me and listen to my input. She reviewed my file and listened to how I felt my knee was functioning and if I thought it was comparable to when I had my other knee done. We came to what I feel was a mutual decision to wait until things got a little worse before doing surgery. Dr Daly advised me to call as soon as I felt I had reached the point I had to have the surgery

I've had laparoscopic surgery on both knees and a great toe fusion , all by Dr. Daly. Each surgery was greatly successful with no problems encountered afterwards. I'm 66 years old and play hockey three times a week. All appointments were very thorough and very informative as to my expectations. She took the time to explain every step and outcome. I appreciated her bedside manner, very business like and to the point.

She didn't do a second xray on my avulsion fracture, after 4 weeks and I found 7 months later that is hasn't healed. Her bedside manner was poor and she conpletely dismissed my pain.

Was referred for my knees but she was more concerned with how young I am and said when I get older I will need knee replacement surgery but I should lose weight and my knees won’t work. I told her I had a hormonal issue but she said that wouldn’t cause issues so I told her to look it up. I also told her I have emphysema so exercise is really difficult but once again she said that wouldn’t be an issue so I also corrected her about that. She thinks because she is an orthopaedic surgeon she also knows everything else but she knows nothing.
Tried to act like she knew other areas of specialization but was totally wrong in what she said.
No bedside manner at all.
I will definitely ask for a different doctor when I need to go again.
She should be retired

Dr. Daly put my ankle back together in March. I found her lovely. Had a sense of humour that I "get". She took me herself, to xray again, to confirm that I really did need to have surgery. Sure she might be a bit abrupt and to the point but she gets things done and I had no issues with her bedside manner. She was amazing.
