A smart and empathic doctor. Generally had the best interests of her patients. unfortunaly she suddenly Closed her practicw without warning.She said this was due to a head injury suffered three years before. I have lots of empathy for her and she was an excellent doctor. my question is how can she be trusted under these circumstances

Dr. Taubes is absolutely first rate in every way. An excellent therapist with enormous insight, she is compassionate and cares genuinely about her patients. She listens, if she feels something is askew, she will probe until she gets a satisfactory answer. I respect her as a person and have formed a very high opinion of her character and her capabilities. I would recommend her highly. She is a professional in every way and very humane. She WILL help you most assuredly.

She's not judgmental, and helps clarify a thorny situation by really getting to the heart of the problem. She's very authentic and genuine, not a typical "shrink."
