Posting for friends (snow birds) who saw the doctor last week & were told if they didn't receive a call from referal he said he would get them by Thursday (yesterday) to call him & any problems call him.
There have been a list of complications.
The doctor told them she has temporal arterus which has cost her 85+%of her vision in both eyes..
And after doctor told them to call with any issues, the staff this morning told him they couldn't help & transfered him to office where he was today,
Who told him there was no point in telling her complications his wife is having,
Suggested they make a appointment weeks out🤯
As he is watching his wife's right arm turn white after being numb since she woke b4dawn🤯🤯🤯
I know they were happy after seeing dr,Dr, no follow up & his phone staff needs to be fired A.S.A.P.!!!
THESE PEOPLE HAVE GOOD INSURANCE AND MONEY!!
I HOPE DOCTOR GETS WORD OF THIS REVIEW!!
HE Really needs to know how rude his people are treating his well off & critical patients..

Brilliant discerning physician who resolved my blepharospasm completely after it had totally incapacitated me.

Over all a horrible experience. Between driving to get to office and waiting I wasted the whole day for nothing. The only test that I needed done was not performed. After being billed for services that were not received I called the office. When I called to complain office manager was both rude and arrogant. I would caution anybody that is thinking of seeing this doctor.

For those of you thinking about getting an eyelid lift for medical reasons or to give yourself a treat, my advice to you is to do it. Dr. Jody Abrams did mine and I cannot tell you how pleased I am with my procedure! I was very nervous going in for the procedure and Dr. Abrams put me at ease with his wonderful chair side manner! More than at easy, but it was the little things that made a huge difference for me. Every shot of lidocaine I have ever had has hurt like heck! I have to say, I did not even feel the normal sting of the lidocaine because of the time Dr. Abrams took to administer it. I have known Dr. Abrams for years, but never had him do such a big procedure before. His manner, his methods, his follow up and his skillful hands made this a tremendously positive experience. Thank you Dr. Abrams.

Dr Abrams is top notch! During my appointments he was always on time, professional and most importantly Dr. Abrams fixed my eye problem for a reasonable fee. He also took the time to reassure me and discuss preventative care. I was so impressed by his skill that I am taking my eye care to Dr. Abrams' new practice.

Absolutely the most rude and incompetent office staff I have even encountered. Expect to be there for at least 4 hours even on a follow-up visit. Dr. Abrams and his office staff caused me to lose my disability and spoke to my work/insurance WITHOUT my permission. HUGE HIPAA violation. I wouldn't trust these people with my dog let alone my own health and well-being. They have also been reported to the board for their violations.

I found Dr. Abrams to be very, courteous, knowlegable, kind, & reassuring. I was referred to him to be screened for a serious neuro issue. He explained to me all possibilities of what I was dealing with. Then he asked me if I understood. I said I felt overwhelmed & probably couldn't remember what he said when I left his office. He then made sure I had printed info. to take home with me. He spent all the time I needed with me. I did not feel he was trying to rush through our consultation at all. I spent about 3 hrs in his office; 1 was spent waiting to see him, 2 were spent going through the various tests he wanted me to have & being examined. The only thing I can complain about is the wait, but when you are the only Dr. w/ his specialty in the tri-state area, I guess that might be expected. In sum - I was very pleased w/ Dr. Abrams!

Dr Abrams was extremely creepy. I thought he was a bit to touchy and would go back to using my other doctor. He was also extremely chaty and not very professional with what he was asking and talking about. As a patient I don't care that your recently divorced or enjoy you asking if I'm married. Not professional.

I have been very impressed with Dr. Abrams. He is a brilliant man that Chattanooga is fortunate to have. He spends lots of time with me and is patient and reassuring with all my questions. He is very down to earth and easy to talk to and explains things very well. I appreciate his openness to learn about some "out there" diseases.I highly recommend him.

Dr. Abrams is a very intelligent and friendly doctor. I was amazed to find such genuine care and positive presence from a doctor whom I had read such a poor review (see below). What a pleasant surprise!
