Dr. Yundt was quite late, but I realized that can happen. No problem. He came into the room with his hand out to greet me. No words were spoken in saying hello, etc.
He began asking me questions as to why I was there and asked me to explain my pain & identify the exact problem where the pain was most painful.
When I tried to explain to him about my back surgeries & what I had been told several years ago about a pinched nerve at the "C-3"level, he immediately got very angry and assured me that he knew more about what was going on in my upper spine than the doctor that I had mentioned who has been retired for over 20 years. He then decided that an injection would do the trick for relieving the pain. He wrote something on a paper, stormed out the door saying follow me",. He dropped the paper off way ahead of me. He never turned around or said anything to me. He just left the area. I felt totally upset & didn't want to cause a scene, so I said nothing. I would have thought that he could have been more pleasant by letting me know what was happening and at least said "good bye or nice to meet you" or whatever. I am not impressed with him or his bedside manner.
It would concern me to have someone like him that had no compassion what so ever, to ever do any kind of surgery on me.

I had tried every alternative I could think of to relieve my back pain until I finally relented and sought help from a neurosurgeon. Dr. Yundt came highly recommended. After taking his time to thoroughly investigate and determine what exactly was causing the pain he performed a bi-lateral laminotomy. The relief was immediate. After three years of not being able to envision a future, I had my life back. I can never repay Dr. Yundt for this gift of a new life! However I can let others know there is hope and there are competent, compassionate doctors that work miracles!

Maybe the worst medical experience I've had. I hurt my lower back earlier this year and have been in severe pain. Had to wait 3 weeks just to see this guy then at the last minute he went on vacation, they subbed in a PA and didn't bother to even tell me. Ended up getting a steroid shot then heard nothing from this crew. I finally called them a week later and they were surprised that I got a steroid shot THAT THEY ORDERED!! They mentioned I need to see Yundt 10-14 days after the shot then proceeded to offer me an appointment 30 DAYS from the shot day. I hung up in disgust. I do not recommend this guy.

Dr. Yundt performed a minimally invasive decompression surgery on my back on March 2, 2018. Everything about Dr. Yundt, his staff and office are to be commended. Everyone I came in contact with at Northwest Brain and Spine was friendly, courteous and professional. Dr. Yundt showed a genuine concern for me and the condition I was suffering from. He assured me that this condition was very treatable and it has a very high success rate. I am completely satisfied and pain free after my surgery. Dr. Yundt did a wonderful job, and I would highly recommend his services to anyone needing a great neurosurgeon. He also follows up with his patients, which in my book is also very commendable.

2 different surgeries, lower and upper back several years apart. Great results on both, consistent service on both. Each surgery labeled emergency each 2 different medical doctors years apart made sure I saw Yundt neither time was by my request. You just get lucky sometimes.
