The staff in Latham are the worst I have ever encountered! Your info is loudly proclaimed throughout the office. They discuss yours and their own personal lives for all to hear. Cleanliness is a joke. During Covid! They are rude on the phone also! Unprofessional staff! Dr Mayron is a seasoned doctor, good at what he does... but oblivious to his awful staff.

Dr Mayron saved the vision in my right eye in 2013. I suffered from macular traction. He gave me an injection of jetrea. It released the traction without side effects. The same thing just happened in my left eye. He gave me jetrea again and cured that eye too. I highly recommend dr Mayron!

Dr. Mayron's staff is wonderful. Dr. Mayron himself needs to improve on a few things including improving his bedside manner, improve his office cleanliness; wash his hands before injecting each patient, focus on one patient at a time instead of three. He has placed Betadine in the eye then leaves the room for over 20 minutes without washing it out! This burning sensation is unbearable. He is rarely prepared to inject the eye with constant in and out of the room and I have seen him leave the speculum in the eye for over 5 minutes prior to the injection. He is causing pain where there should be none and then constantly says "I'm sorry". That doesn't cut it. I have heard that the procedure for injection of meds (Eylea) for macular degeneration should be painless. Not with Dr. Mayron.
