Besides having terrible eyesight, I've had increasingly bad vision from cataracts for about a year, that were diagnosed by a different doctor. I went to Dr. Sibley for my cataract surgery and at his recommendation chose Crytalens implants. He thoroughly explained the whole procedure and what I might or might not expect. The day of my surgery went without any problems as did the next day follow up. I COULD NOT BELIEVE THE INSTANT IMPROVEMENT!!! It is truly remarkable. The very next day I was seeing things I had not been able to see in years. I cannot wait to have my other eye done. For the first time in 50 years I will be without glasses. To me it is truly like a miracle.
Throughout the entire process I found Dr. Sibley and his staff courteous and professional, at both his office and surgery center. I felt confident in their competence and patient care, and was totally comfortable with the entire procedure.
I would not hesitate to recommend Dr. Sibley to anyone.

Very arrogant, very rude, unprofessional and incompetent. After a 2 hour wait to see him he danced his way in the room singing and laughing like it was not a big dea i brought all my records from my last doctor but he didnt even take a look at them at alll..I have glaucoma but his diagnosis is that quote im near sided and old and when i tried to ask questions he told me to stop interrupting him and to wait till he is done talking ..I felt like a Bad 2 year old..when he got done talking he gave me a brochure on blindness and a pencil with the office logo then he left the room and never came back..im facing blindness and i have 5 kids with my youngest being 9 years old and all this guy did is laugh, insult me and send me home with no answers what so ever..He still gets paid and thats all that matters i guess.. worst experience of my life with a doctor i dont even know how he became one its appalling..

Not sure I know the words to describe making the decision of allow someone to operate on your eyes. I know I made the decision 3 weeks ago and told Dr Sibley he had my “total trust” to perform the lasik procedure on both eyes at TLC. He, and his staff, were very accommodating as I travelled over 1,000 to have the surgery done and this was a result of my research and his helpfulness and patience in explaining in simple terms every detail of the procedure. His ongoing discussion of exactly what was going on during the procedure kept me calm and informed. Prior to the surgery my correction was “challenging” and after I am seeing and feeling GREAT! There is a reason their office phone number ends in 2020.

This was, to say the least one of the most horrible experiences of my life. I have never felt more uncomfortble while in an exam room with a purported professional. I certainly do not think placing your hand above a patients knee and holding it there while initilazing conversation is acceptable. Nor do i think referencing how I remind him of his e-wife is appropriate. I was misdiagnosed with a degenerative eye disease. I could not get an appointment for a 2nd opinion for one week . During those seven days, I tried to come to grips with blindness and raising a 5 year old. This was quite traumatizing and I hope no one ever goes through what I did.

I did not go to Dr. Sibley's main office in St. Pete. I went to TLC Tampa for IntraLASIK surgery and Dr. Sibley was the surgeon that perfomed my surgery, so this review is about the TLC facility and Dr. Sibley's surgery performance. Dr. Sibley was very polite and courteous. He explained to me the procedure to my satisfaction before we went into the operating room. The procedure was very quick and mostly painless (very minor/bearable pain). My eyes were sore and my vision was blurry that night, but the next morning my eyes were not sore at all and I saw crystal clear. I went to my post op appointment that afternoon and I had 20/15 vision! I could not even see the big "E" on the eye chart before the surgery, but had 20/15 the day after?! Amazing! It is now 1 week after my surgery and everything is looking and feeling GREAT! I am very grateful to Dr. Sibley for performing my surgery and also personally calling me the next morning to check on me. I LOVE MY NEW EYES!

Terrible reputation discovered after the surgery! Again yet another patient, me who was recommended to only have the Crystalens implants and they did not work! Scar tissue development and having to wait over a year to have Lasik. Was told by a staff member that I was not a candidate for the Crystalens. He has a poor attitude and a massive ego with a bad reputation in the entire community! Oh the stories and that you find out living in a small town.
