To me he was a sight-saver...another doctor told me I was legally blind from Shingles...Dr Murphy was able to restore it with the right meds to 20/20...I trust him completely...

Dr. Murphy has been treating my eyes for 14 years. He has always been kind and respectful and I feel I am in good hands. Sometimes the wait time can be a little long, mostly if he is the Doctor on call that day, but that's expected at offices when sometimes priority appointments need to be accommodated. I have the utmost trust in his knowledge and capabilities and I wouldn't go anywhere else!

Excellent doctor, I saw him 5 yrs ago for torn retina . He had me in surgery two days after . Very accommodating even if he's busy.

I'm surprised at some of these comments...did people think a doctors visit is social hour? I visit Dr. Murphy for yearly eye checks. I have never had to wait more than 15 minutes before being seen. The staff is efficient and very polite. Dr. Murphy is knowledgeable and efficient as well. He's a man of few words. However, when I ask a question, he always sits back and takes the time to fully answer all my queries. When he discovered I had a tear in my retina!!!!! Yikes.....he scheduled me for laser therapy that very afternoon after his workday. I have not found many docs who would do that. For me, that's what counts....fast, efficient treatment. I'm happy that he's not a chatter...that means I don't have to spend my time sitting in a waiting room.

I was lucky enough to get Dr. Murphy after a visit to emergency some years ago. He has followed me ever since, making sure that I know what’s happening and that I get the best care available. His wait times may be lengthy sometimes but if you have a problem, he will make the time to see you. His staff are professional, courteous, and friendly. I would recommend Dr. Murphy to anyone.

Very knowledgeable and organized. Some question his bedside manners but I didn't go there to sleep with him.
He could improve his turnover by possibly using remote operated chairs (ROC's) on a merry-go-round and save himself the necessity of running around.

Verbally abusive on last visit. Flipped his lid, came at me sideways. Wondered if he'd had a bad day. I should have filed a written complaint. First few visits were good. Would not see him again or others recommended by GP after. I was humiliated, shocked. Appauling, unprofessional. I should have said something to him but didn't.

Knowledgeable and considerate of patients. I don’t agree with peoples comments about his manners. He is extremely busy and his focus is on the patience, which I like. I don’t expect him to makes small talk with the person who accompanies the patients. Staff extremely helpful
