Dr. Murphy recently did cataract surgery on both my eyes. Also, I'm a keratoconus patient ( cornea ) problems. Dr. Murphy is top notch in his profession from what I've experienced and observed. Excellent staff. 5 stars all around.

Dr Murphy did my cataract surgery and also did eye laser surgery on me. He was efficient and acted quickly to repair my eye. I never have to wait long to see him. While not chatty, he answers all my questions carefully and fully. Both my surgeries were successful. The aftercare was excellent as well. He’s a top notch doc!

I had cataract surgery on both eyes. Dr. Murphy and his staff were very pleasant, knowledgeable, provided excellent service and were very accommodating to my needs. I would recommend him to anyone requiring eye surgery. Full Stars all around.

Very efficient and knowledgeable. Not chatty. Direct and to the point. Professional. Knows his stuff. Did cataracts in both of my eyes. Gave me back my life. Thank you so much. Does not engage in small talk. Focuses on the issue at hand and gets the job done ASAP. Suits me fine. Great staff as well.

Dr. Murphy is excellent. In my experience with superior specialists, I find they are not there to chat. He knows what is wrong with your eyes when he does his tests and asks specific questions. He doesn't need anecdotes or social chats. My first visit with him, I thought he was cold and dismissive as well - but after a few visits, I get how he operates.

His staff are super friendly and accommodating. While sitting in his waiting room and overhearing some phone calls (only nurse's side of course), it's amazing they feel like coming into work every day.

Didn't get full stars for punctuality because I have waiting in the sitting area for quite a while for scheduled visits. Probably understandable seeing as he does appointments at HSC as well. Most clinics are unpredictable anyway when it comes to wait time.

Dr. Murphy is one of the best, if not the best, medical specialist I've ever had any dealings with. Both my Mom (senior) and myself are patients of his as well as many other family members. Never heard a bad word about him or his staff . Thank you Dr. Murphy.

I can't believe the comments that ppl put on these reviews about the Doctor's personality ..
You're there for your eyesight not fireside chat.
If he had not caught my retina tear 10 yrs ago I would be blind by now. He's great doctor. God Bless him and his staff for all they do

Very rude and ignorant, maybe arrogance is the right word. For someone who sees many seniors he's certainly not in the right line of work personality or should I say lack there of. Receptionist is much the same
